An Excellent Tool for Effortless Recording, Transcription and AI Summaries.
My Take on This Device After a Month of UseI’ve been using this device for over a month, and it’s been a game-changer for keeping all my phone calls and meeting transcriptions organised. Here’s what I think:What I LoveVersatility:Great for recording meetings, phone calls, or casual chats where I need to capture key details. It’s become a daily essential for me. 1,800 monthly minutes of transcription is much more than the competition.Ease of Use:The magnetic attachment allowing me to connect directly to my Nothing phone case is super convenient. It's compact and lightweight, so it’s easy to carry around without noticing it. The recording quality has so far been excellent. The audio recording, transcription text and formatted summaries can all be shared to other apps like mail, cloud storage, Microsoft Word, WhatsApp etc.Hidden Features:Beyond the basic summaries, I found that you can export transcriptions to other apps (like ChatGPT). This opens up endless options for refining notes, brainstorming, or creating personalised content.Tech Support:I had an issue backing up files to my computer using the supplied data cable, so I contacted their tech support by email. The next morning I had a reply from their support team and solved it right away. What Could Be Better? Not much to complain about, but I wish I’d opted for the white version to match my phone.Who Is This For?If you’re looking for a reliable, functional, and innovative recording and transcription tool to streamline your workflow, I believe this is it. Game Changer - Look No Further - Buy This!
As a health professional, I've been using a dictaphone from the time of the horse and cart and my subsequent battles with tapes in these were legendary. Enter the FOCASE AI recorder and this has been a complete game changer. Easy-to-use out-of-the-box without any pfaf and it pretty much hits the ground running from the first moment. The transcription is intuitive and the quality of output is excellent. There are heavily promoted items on the market right now and which are much pricier and which also comes with hidden subscriptions which locks one in. With this device, one gets a generous 1.8k minutes pm allowance which should be sufficient for average individual and, even if one has to take out a subscription, it is relatively inexpensive. As for the device itself, it's well made, eminently portable and pocketable and extremely easy to use even for someone who may not be tech savvy. Such is my confidence with this that I have bought three of them for use by colleagues. In short, look no further, this recorder is understated but highly rated and is most definitely very much recommended.

Compact alternative to phone for voice recording
Overall, I’m pretty impressed with the product. The recorder itself is small and lightweight, but it picks up sound clearly, probably thanks to the dual microphones. I found it to work well in a variety of settings - a GP meeting, museum lecture and some conversations with some background noise.I like it that if your phone doesn’t have magnetic attachment (mine doesn't), there’s a magnetic ring that you can stick on the back of your phone. I wish they included other ways of mounting the recorder, like clips to clip it to your bag or clothes or something. The app is available on the Play Store and lets you transcribe the recordings using AI. You do need to create an account to use the transcription feature, but apparently the transcription is done locally on your phone, so your data stays private. The transcription works pretty well—about 95% accuracy even with different accents! However, the app itself isn’t the most user-friendly. It’s a little clunky, and I found myself getting frustrated at times. It does get the job done. You get a generous allowance of transcribe minutes, and can buy additional ones. Make sure to back up recordings before transcribing because they get deleted after! Which I didn't know at first and caught me by surprise. The device has 64GB of storage, which is more than enough to store a lot of recordings. You can also transfer files to your computer if you want to back them up or do more with them.I'm struggling to judge this product, it's great for what it does, and the sound quality is surprisingly good for its size. The app could use some improvement, but it works well enough for transcribing recordings. However, for under £60, how many of these features (voice recording, free transcribe) are already present in our smartphones? It's a good option if for whatever reason you don't want to use your phone for recording and transcribing though.

Simple, excellent and small!
I am truly satisfied with this product. From the very first use, I appreciated the quality of the materials and the attention to detail. It is easy to use, and its performance is outstanding, making my daily routine more practical and efficient.Simple to use, with its app available for both iOS and Android. The battery lasts an incredibly long time — I can record lectures and meetings all day without needing to recharge. Two features, which I consider essential, should not be overlooked:It has MagSafe compatibility, allowing me to carry it attached to my phone without having to search for it or take it out every time. It’s small and has a minimal design, so it doesn’t draw attention when left on the table during meetings or lectures. The free app for managing recordings on a smartphone is well-designed, very fast, and has an intuitive interface.Highly recommended!
