I got this to see if the USB-C port on my LT supports DisplayPort protocol. I connected a Dell P2418H touch-screen monitor to the LT using the adapter and a DP cable and it works fine. (Although the Dell documentation wasn't clear, I discovered that the monitor touchscreen function also requires a parallel USB 2 connection between monitor and computer. I don't know why: Would it also be true of a DPMI or VGA connection vs a DP? I haven't tried those combos.)

Works perfect if it in a hard surface away from vibration.
