It works. A bit confusing and challenging to pinpoint where devices are. Detection is a bit touchy and delayed at times so you have to scan slowly and be patient. Don't expect spy movie detection but a good tool to have at AirBnB's, hotels and whatnot to detect signals. I would go 3.5 for difficulty and lack of fine explanation but rounded up for a fair price.

I bought this to detect any cameras in my locker room at work and at my gym. Not only was this camera detector easy to use, instructions were really explanatory, but it actually works!! At my gym, where it was beeping, I thought it wasn't working because it was going off on what I thought was just a fire/smoke detector. I was so wrong. The detector was located right where people change. I then called a female supervisor who got a ladder and sure enough, it was a hidden camera. When this thing senses anything within almost a foot away, its sensitive enough to start going off. Not only was the battery on this long enough to go through the whole locker room, with the supervisor, but it detected a total of 8 cameras!!! This thing is truly amazing! Highly recommend if you suspect hidden cameras!
