Is this clock of the same caliber as Big Ben? No, but as a travel clock, it checks all the boxes.Buttons for settings are located on the front and are clearly marked. I found the instructions well written and easy to follow.Large time display is easy to read. Not sure why the temperature feature was added but I suppose some may find it handy.The hinge on the stand portion could be a bit sturdier but with gentle handling, it should stand up to normal usage.The alarm is rather loud but that is the purpose of an alarm, to rouse you from slumber.At this price point, this clock is worth having. Every feature you need in a travel clock in a compact size.

If a Leica camera could somehow morph into a digital clock it would look like this. I love looking at this object and it's quite functional, too: the numbers are easily seen in the daylight and all daily information is laid out perfectly. It's the round red button against the black frame that makes me think of Leica - and that's something I very much like-a. :)

The buttons are very load and so is the alarm. I couldn't find a volume. If you need to be woken up and scared to death, this is for you. It was a nice small compact size.

The first word that came to mind when I opened the box for the Kanbit Small Digital Travel Alarm Clock was cheap. The “feel” of the plastic just missed the boat. I believe that the folks at Kanbit were going for the “matte” look but instead hit the “I am trying to cut corners” look. The finish is too smooth, and this lack of texture gives the surface of the clock a “tinny” feel.The setup for the time and alarm were intuitive however the set up for the month and the day was not. If you lose the directions and your memory fades it is highly unlikely that you will be able to set the month, date, and day. Woe be unto ye.The clock does have the following redeeming features:1. A genuinely nice backlight that comes on when you tap the Light/Snooze button – it fades away after five seconds2. The display of the temperature3. It has a timer4. It is packed with interesting functions such as time, temperature, and dateThe “not so good” attributes include:A. A scarily flimsy battery doorB. An equally flimsy hinge on the face cover/standC. Cheap sounding (and visually obvious) plasticWhen you insert the batteries, the clock will expose you to too many moments of the song, Auld Lang Syne. It is interesting that the folks at Kanbit picked a song that is usually used to bid farewell. With this note I will bid thee farewell, and I express gratitude for the time you spent reading this review.

It’s everything I had hoped for. It is compact, but the time is displayed in large numbers. I like having the date displayed. Would recommend.

I could not get the day to match the date om clock. Followed the instructions and got nowhere!!

This isn't a five star as in, "Wow! The best product ever!", but instead for functionality and price. I am pretty simple on my alarm clock needs and wants: easy to set and to turn off, rings at the appropriate time, runs on easily acquired batteries, can light up on demand (but be dark the rest of the time), is small, isn't any obnoxious color so it will blend in to the background, and is foldable with the screen protected. This clock covers all of these functions solidly with several extras.
