Purchased for my son's east-facing bedroom. Shortly after we moved in, I noticed he had rigged a sheet from his bookshelf because the mini blinds were not enough to shield his window from the morning sun. I have an eastern window as well and know what it's like to wake up to a lighthouse beacon in my face each morning so I quickly found him some room-darkening curtains. He picked the design and they fit him (and his room) perfectly AND make his room dark enough that he can catch some extra Zzzs. (Although, let's be real, he's a teenager and he could sleep through the apocalypse.)Nice quality, fairly heavy-weight, brilliant color, and a good value! Would definitely purchase again!

I bought these curtains for my daughter's room. She loves galaxy print and theme so these were a win straight away. Also the regular pull string blinds you see in the picture allowed to much light through the blind spaces. So things like airplanes and my neighbor pulling into her driveway was causing my daughter to wake up and stay up. I purchased these to make her happy & sleep better. It ended up improving her attitude in the mornings too (again she's 10) she feels more rested. Also her grades improved in the last few months as well. Better sleep, better grades. Her room is quite peaceful with these curtains. With the curtains closed her room is completely dark. Perfect for sleeping or day naps. I highly recommend if you have a child who needs better sleep and dreams of space!
