Made in Germany!
At least the one I received is. I’m really happy with my first impressions of this drill. Feels good in the hand and seems to be of very high quality. Nice metal chuck. The clutch ring rotates smoothly and has nice, positive detents. Leave it to the Germans to build robust, quality tools.I drove a few 3 inch drywall screws into wood and it it’s very smooth and powerful. The mechanical clutch works very nicely. Fairly compact for a drill that sports 663 in-lbs of torque.Overall this seems like a fantastic drill. Looking forward to putting it to work.

Buyer beware. Batteries hard to come by.
I needed a high-speed drill and the 2100 rpms this one is rated at would fill my needs. But this comes without batteries and my old Metabo HPT batteries don't work in it. The CAS batteries required by this device are widely used in Europe but hard to come by in the US. So I am awaiting a battery/charger set which I ordered over a month ago.
