If I wanted cut pieces of electrical conduit with rough edges that would cut your lip, I would have gone to home depot and done it myself. This should be BANNED from Amazon for being unsafe, and awful.

Perfect, mostly.
If you drink large volumes, these are perfect. I drink from half gallon mason jars. The straws fit just right, proportionantely. The only complaint I have is cost. Still, they work well. I am buying another set soon.

They are not very comfortable to drink from
The ribbing for the bending goes all the way from end to end, and isn't very comfortable against my lips. It would have been better to have the last inch of the straw either end to be smooth.I don't know how well they clean yet. They can be boiled, but if sludge from a thick drink coats the inside, I don't know if boiling it will be enough or if I'll have to find jumbo pipe-cleaners.

Metal flavor when drinking
These straws are metal and have a metal flavor when drinking cold things. They are bendable , but really too long. Not at all what I expected. No rubber tips as others have and too long to take along in may cases.
