I have purchased outdoor bug zappers in the past and this one is hands down the absolute best for catching indoor pesky fruit flies, especially helpful during berry season! I don't remember the last time I wrote a review for any product in the last 5 years. That is how good this bug zapper is. It kills fruit flies I didn't even know existed in my kitchen. I can't speak to other details like how long the product will last or what to do if the lights stop working. I've been using this for a week and I don't see fruit flies anymore. That is not a statement I could make with other zappers in their first week. The tray at the bottom is so easy to pull out and toss the bugs. The zapping is so powerful that some bugs get zapped outside of the tray but most of them fall into the tray at the bottom. I hate bugs and this zapper makes me so happy. Never thought I'd be saying something like that in my life, but here we are. I never cared about what a bug zapper looked like as long as it worked because, like I said, I hate bugs, but the orange retro-looking one is also the best looking bug zappers. If friends came over to ypur house and saw it, they might think it was a cool bluetooth speaker instead of a bug zapper. There's no need to tell them what it really is, but I bet they'd be pretty impressed to find out it was actually a bug zapper. Highly recommend.

I live in Florida and right now there are lots of mosquitoes. I also have chickens so am in and out all day and mosquitoes follow me into the house regardless of what I do. Before I got the Buzbug zapper mosquitoes would bite my ankles while I worked on my computer and be buzzing around my head at night. (I hid the rest of me under the covers.) Now I can sleep undisturbed. There's a loud pop when a fly or mosquito hits it. Makes me jump... but it also makes me smile. : ) Someone said it does not kill mosquitoes. When I dump whatever bugs, I see mosquitoes too.

Portable rechargable unit. Battery lasts about 18 hours on continuous use and take about 3 1/2 hours to fully recharge. Shock grid is behind a sturdy metal protective screen so you won't get shocked if you happen to bump it, but the screen openings are large enough for small fingers to get thru.I have a large dog door that keeps out most pests, but mosquitos have found their way in and were laying eggs in the dog's water bowls. First night of use got three blood suckers and a gnat. Figure on using it at night when the skeeters are most active.

Good news, this works as advertised. Bad news, I was not so prepared for all the dried out carcass cleaning this would require. Fried mosquitoes unstick and fall to the tray just fine... But the wasp it zapped was well wedged in it's state of rigor and difficult to unstick with the little brush provided, proving to be as much of a pest in death as it was in life. Still glad I have this for a camping trip or patio hang out here and there, but won't be making insect corpse sweeping my new hobby on the regular.

Every summer our house is plagued with flies and mosquitos. It's so annoying to hear them buzz in your ear, and bite when you're trying to relax or sleep. The doors and windows are closed, but they get in anyway. The BuzBug is a good solution. Every so often, we hear a loud pop when another insect meets its doom. The unit is small, and USB-C or battery powered. It lasts all night on battery alone, so it can be placed nearly anywhere in a room. The blue LED lamps attract insects, drawing very little power. I may get one or two more to cover more rooms at once.

It doesn't really attract flies, but if a fly happens to wander into it, it does get zapped. However, the zapping doesn't always kill the fly. One fly went in, and got zapped a couple of times while flying around, then landed outside of the zapper. It couldn't fly, but it could walk around.

After my other Buzbug zapper survived hurricane Beryl without a scratch, I decided to have a battery powered one so we wouldn't have to do without during a power outage. Let it run inside the house for a few hours to see if it'd do anything about some moths that had been irritating. They're all gone now. Also good for taking outside with you while you're doing garden work - the little pops just a reminder of the ones that *aren't* going to come get you anymore. Genuinely considering giving as a gift to others.

You'll find this zapper arrives neatly packaged, complete with a grate cleaning brush and a USB cable (USB charger not provided). I just received this a day ago and wanted to fully charge it before testing its effectiveness, so I can't say much about how well it works yet. I like the fact that it uses only two tubes dotted with LED lights and there are no consumables (sticky pads, bait, etc.) to contend with. It has a generous, easily removable catch tray which makes for easy bug disposal and clean up. If you're just setting it on a counter top, the carrying strap is removable so it doesn't block the grate. I’m hopeful that it will work as advertised.

Switch on and zap away.Just the job for hanging in our inner tent and keeping the bugs at bay.You definitely know it's working as your hear a loud cracking as another bug bites the dust.Customer service are good too, answering a question in the late evening, on whether you can use it while charging and Yes you can.Battery life from fully charged surpassed what was written in the booklet 8hrs. Tut genau das was ein Mückenbrutzler tun soll, er brutzelt Mücken und sonstige lästige Plagegeister. Viel entspannteres chillen auf der Terrasse dem Balkon oder vor dem Wohnmobil. Äußert praktisch da es einen Akku hat der erstaunlich lange hält. Mindestens die angegebenen 7 Stunden, eher mehr. Ich persönlich hänge es lieber irgendwo hin, 2-3 Meter von uns weg, statt es auf den Tisch zu stellen.Man erschrickt am Anfang schon wenn die ersten fiesen Stechmücken darin „geschockt“ werden. Knallt ordentlich aber ist nicht so dramatisch, man weiß ja in dem Moment das es einen Stich weniger gibt 😂Alles in allem ein cooles, schickes Gerät, irgendwie wie ein tragbares Radio aus den 70ern….

Devo dire che sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso da questa lampada. Innanzitutto, l’estetica è piacevole, si integra bene con il mio giardino senza risultare invadente e non è un pugno in un occhio come quei modelli che si vedono spesso in giro.La vera utilità, però, risiede nella sua efficacia nell'eliminare i fastidiosi insetti volanti, prime di tutti le zanzare. I tubi UV-LED attirano gli insetti, che vengono poi a contatto su di una rete di ferro a bassissimo voltaggio, che li elimina riducendo significativamente la loro presenza nell’area circostante.Inoltre, apprezzo il fatto che sia sicura per l’uso in ambienti sia interni che esterni.Il materiale della scocca è in ABS, ma nel complesso sembra resistente.In definitiva, se state cercando una soluzione efficace, e soprattutto carina esteticamente, per liberarvi dalle zanzare durante le vostre serate all’aperto, questa lampada è sicuramente da prendere in considerazione.La consiglio a pieni voti
