Cute gift for a toddler, very interactive and simple.

This review is about the Wooden hammer and pegs bench.Most Everything looks as it should. Smooth finish and round edges. Pegs fit nicely and have the right resistance. It is wonderful that they stop at the floor (table/play surface) and then the bench can be flipped to do it again!However, I find it bizarre that two of the colorful pegs are PLASTIC. ?!?! What the heck?!?! Seems like a shortcut in production and it is a little disappointing. They sound annoying when hammered (unlike the wood which is more pleasant) and I expect they will break before the rest of the toy wears out. Perhaps this is why the product is marked down a lot.

Perfect and love all the different shapes. My 2 year old loves this toy. This toy is great for fine motor skills.

Excellent toy.Two of the three cylinders are plastic.Promotes gross motor development, hand/eye, in/out, push/pull, and mimicking.Pieces large enough to avoid choking.Would buy again.

Works great. The pieces are easy to hammer, but not too loose so they just take one tap.I don’t understand the one clear plastic piece though. I wanted to work on colors and shapes with the student. I wish the colors and shapes were a little more basic.

So if your child is young I’d say no… nothing keeps the pegs inside. Meaning they pop complete out when you hit them. Half were lost in a matter of days

The pieces slide straight through the holes without any resistance. The silicon gaskets are too loose. It seems made well otherwise.
