Please ensure you roof rails have a gap between the roof and the rail so the is enough clearance for the bars to clamp on to them. These are the cross bars designed for cars that already have side rails already fitted The side rails on the car need to have a gap between the bottom of the rail and the roof of the car (see photo) - these are not suitable for cars with solid rails that have no gap underneath.
