So many parts you buy are after market and not given much love or detail. This came with detailed clear instrcutions and looks likw quality. It looks like its solidly build and installed in under 10 minutes. Nice.

Makes the 12 year old Weber like new
My old Weber was getting hard to light, which is a pain when you have a tray full of food to cook and need to grab a lighter to do it manually. This was an easy to do replacement that fit perfectly and sure enough the old one had corroded badly so the propane gas was not "trapped" in the igniter making it difficult. This was an easy fix and so happy didn't have to shell out for a new grill.

Did not fit
This lighter was supposed to be a direct replacement for my weber grill. Well it wasn't even close. The shield for the lighter was too big. I had to cut the metal down to fit. Then the striker mechanism is sesigned dor a square hole when the hole in the grill is round. There is another 20 minutes filing a round hole into a square one. About 2 hours to get it to work. What a mess.
