Great unit. Easy to mount and fill. Simple training . Able to use normal water with a treatment solution for 120 day shelf life. Much cheaper than regular units

This is a decent eyewash station, and fills a need where an eyewash station might be needed, but the area lacks any water hookup to use. I recommend using sterile saline solution, but plan water can be used in a pinch.One thing I wanted to point out, is that with 9 gallons of water in this, it weighs over 70 lbs. So first of all, it might require 2 people to install when full, depending on the location and how strong the person is installing it. And second, make SURE this is well mounted. The last thing you want to happen is to have someone run over to the eyewash station, flip it down to use it, and have it come crashing to the floor when it pulls out of the wall. Make sure you take the weight into account when mounting this and take the appropriate measures.

The item purchased was a 9-gallon eyewash, but the item received was an 8-gallon eyewash. The difference is an OSHA flow time standard. This unit is not compliant.

For the price this is a good eye wash station. NOW, in the directions it says it can be hung by the back bracket. So, starting out I did not use the bottom plate and just hung it on the wall with the hook on back. I filled it up and (15 gallons) and it worked. Later I came by and it was on the ground spilled over. So, don't trust the instructions, (language complication?) You need to support the bottom as well.
