Husband loves it.

I needed a wider field of view than others provided. This little scope provided that, and much more. Really well made. The table is very precise. The software is easy to use. Just a great instrument at a great price.

The stand is well made and works well, as does the scope. Instructions leave a lot to be desired. But they will get you started. Do not believe the claims for power are accurate but the photo formats seem to be. Look for the power/magnification button. I use my phone for a screen, take photos at highest resolution and review those to check fine details.The phone app works but is minimalist in functionality. Have not tried the other. For the price IThink it is a good deal. I was considering some higher end scopes, but glad I tried this one first.

very touchy, any modification to height/magnification/focus will move the image center considerablyonly used it with windows 11 camera appgot decent magnification imaging a coin (evaluated focused image pixel to be 0.8 um)got less adequate resolution (in calibration image each div is 10 um, so evaluated resolution to ~2 um)had to get the coin a little past the protective rim height, so any object larger will need adaptationIMO decent for its price

This microscope is excellent! Reliable and clear for viewing all manner of objects up close. This device is used daily in my classroom and has been a huge upgrade compared to other digital microscopes. The ability to connect directly to a computer and projector and over wifi to iPads and iPhones has been awesome. The company has been a huge help as well with support and troubleshooting. If you want an easy-to-use and multi-functional microscope, this device is perfect for you.

I first bought one of these microscopes last year. I loved it so much I ended up buying 3 more. I am able to have two at work (my colleagues were always borrowing mine, so I needed another) and two at home. One for me and one for the kids to use for checking out bugs, plants, coins, etc. The image is incredible and has become one of my most needed tools both at home and at work. My career is in designing and maintaining laser equipment and at home I build and tinker with electronics and cars. I am able to read part numbers on tiny components for repairing damaged equipment with this microscope. It also has become an invaluable tool while soldering tiny components to circuit boards or looking for damaged parts. I highly recommend this microscope and also the stand is a must. The build quality of the stand is fantastic and increases the microscope's functionality 1000%.

This microscope makes you download an app and use their own personal Wi-Fi spot that is unsecured, and no VPN can be used. That means all internet traffic has access to your data, when connected to it. The app that you download is called WiFi check. There are tons of reviews of people getting alerted by their banks, etc etc, for cybersecurity reasons.
