Truly, a lifesaver. I am so extremely grateful for this product and it has been nothing but a positive experience. This device gives me so much mental clarity when I know I’m going to be home outside of my usual hours, or gone for a day or two. It’s very precise, as well as has great video feed to see your animals.The feeder dispenses on average 10 g of food per serving, and for my male 16 pound cat, he’s supposed to eat around 100 g a day based off the food he eats. I have it timed so he receives 30 g in the morning, 20g in the afternoon, 30g for dinner, then 10g for a late night snack since he’s a bored eater.All super convenient and helps your pet have a set feeding schedule while not needing to forget or being able to not be home for a bit.You do have to pay either $3 to have one day worth of video replay capabilities, or $6/month to have video footage for up to a week which is kind of lame in my opinion but company is going to do what they can do to get residual income.I think one of the best things about this product is that you can also put batteries in it so in case the electricity goes out, it will still feed your pet. Similarly, what’s really nice is even if your Wi-Fi crashes, it will still feed your pet, which definitely blew me away.

My cats would wake me up at 6 am before, so I bought this to have more shut-eye. It works great! I also use this during those times when I can't make it back home in time to feed them wet food. It has saved me and my cat children more times than I can count. It holds a lot of food, and I usually don't have to refill it until after a month. It's a little loud when dispensing, but it doesn't bother me. It also speaks when it's feeding time, and my cats go zooooooming to it. LOLOther features I liked:I can talk to my cat through the wifi connectionRecords videos when my cats are eating - great way for me to check if they ateWhat I don't like:You have to subscribe to Petkit+ + for $1.99 a month to playback video, watch a highlight of cats eating, and vlog put together by the app - honestly, I don't care much for this, so I don't subscribe.Overall, pretty good value for money and has really made my life easier.

We got this as a way to dispense our dogs meds at specific times if we weren’t home. It works great. We put the food in one side of the bin and the meds in the other and you can have them dispensed at different times (meds at breakfast and dinner, meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner). They make updates to the app pretty consistently. The video is really nice when we are away to be able to see if things were dispensed and our dog ate them. There are some funny captions that didn’t translate well from Chinese to English, but they’re more funny than problematic.

When I first recieved this feeder it wouldn't connect to the app at all. But after taking to Petkit support they sent a replacement base out and that worked perfectly! Usually when I have to talk to support about a product I deduct stars but I really appreciate that Petkit just sent replacement parts without me having to send anything back first. They solved my issue in the most convenient way for me. The feeder itself is great, large enough for my two cats, reliable with despensing food and very smart. Tells you when to replace the desiccant packet and when the feeder runs out of food. Camera works good too. It also has a battery backup so your pets still get food even if the power goes out. Overall Petkit makes great products that may be pricey upfront, but are built well and are genuially useful.

It has dual battery and electric mode but it doesn't tell you camera won't work in battery mode. I wouldn't have been so quick to buy this. Where I have my dogs food there are no outlets and it has to battery operated. I was excited when it went on sale so I bought this. I was a little disappointed when I found this out. I wanted this one because it said it locked after it dispense food and I hoped it would be safe from ants or other nosey criters. I'm debating on sending it back.
