SSG"The Original" All Weather Gloves

I've been buying these SSG All Weather riding gloves for many years and absolutely love them. They give me perfect grip on the reins while riding, are very flexible, and allow a good "feel" of the reins. The velcro tabs at the wrist allow for a perfect fit. I use my older SSG gloves while grooming the horses and have used them while gardening, too. I don't like heavier riding gloves in winter that do not allow as much feel in the reins, so these are the perfect gloves for me year round! I usually give them a quick hand wash in the sink with Woolite and let them air dry. Great gloves at a reasonable price.

I love the fit of these gloves and this is my 3rd pair, but they are not very durable for every day use. They are thin, and they fit my size 6 hands perfect without being too bulky. The pair I just bought is already falling apart. I will probably go with a different brand next time unfortunately.

I can't give it enough of a recommendation for anyone who wants skin tight for their hands. It has a great feel and the fabric is nice and soft. It has handled use well, and only has slight frills here and there but considering what I am using it for they are very minor in comparison to what they have gone through. They also seem to dry quickly. Only one minor thing is that I know -eventually- the Velcro will wear out, but that is expected; as of now the Velcro is holding up exceptionally. For costume designs, this glove is also great for a base glove to design from. Managing tools with this glove feel like the glove isn't there, full mobility!

These are my go to gloves. They're pretty and great for texting, writing in a notebook, etc. without having to remove them. If you're on a horse and it's raining, you'll still have a great grip on the reins. The last time I bought the gloves I noticed that the fabric was wearing very quickly. I didn't contact the company, but merely mentioned this in a review, and voila, they sent me a new pair.

Perfect gloves for warm spring, summer and warm fall days. Nice grip and allows for a lot of feel from rein to bit.

These gloves last a long time & fit snug so you have the dexterity to manipulate tack. I do not buy any other gloves except SSG. I bought a blue pair for my husband which arrived 7/20/2020 & that pair was bright, ugly yellow— came from a third party seller. Since they are for barn paddock work, my husband will keep them but the blue sure would have been nicer . Through Amazon I bought my husband the “ Stars & Stripes” for a second pair & he loved the design & colors.

We live in a rodeo/western riding town and we had a terrible time finding equestrian gloves. I looked at all the tack stores and boot/feed stores in town and only found 2 kids pair of this brand. I liked buying it from Amazon vs. buying from an equestrian catalog, because I could see the pix better and knew these were the ones we wanted. Buying them online saved me from going out of town and wasting my time.

These gloves are exactly what I needed and expected. Fit perfectly, had my first ride in them and on a fairly warm day, kept my hands comfortable without feeling overheated. I felt I had a tight grip on the reins and my hands did not slide. I would recommend and when needed, I will purchase another pair!

Really great gloves. They certainly make an impact and they fit perfectly.My only gripe would be that when the velcro hits the pink fabric, the fabric pulls. This shouldn't happen on a premium glove in my opinion but still a great product.

I have always loved SSG gloves. I had a navy pair in 2014 and a couple of months ago I lost one of the gloves so quickly bought a pair of Macwets and they don't even begin to come close! These gloves are the PERFECT fit, soooo durable and most of all very grippy! I ride racehorses daily and use these, trust me, you will not find any better

These are great gloves, been buying them for years and both myself and my daughter love them for fit, comfort and style.

Bought these a while back and they are still going strong despite regular use and abuse.
