Not waterproof, ordered twice, both ruined
This is the second meter in 2 months that water ruined. The first one i thought maybe i didn't screw the cap down tight enough. Second one i definitely screwed down tight. Install went great, device worked great, then it rained. The twist on cap and grommet do not keep water out. Both water meters got ruin from rain intrusion. Over $100 wasted.

Extremely satisfied.
I'm using this for water tanks. I needed a few of these units, so I bought one to see how dependable it was. It has exceeded my expectations, so I'm buying more for my other tanks.Installation was easy. App download was seamless. Wifi pairing is easy as it should be. I mention this because that is not always the case for all devices that need to be paired. App connection uptime is not perfect, but it is probably over 95%.I reached out to the seller which is Amazon says is the manufacturer. They responded quickly and addressed my question, so I am happy with that.

Stopped working
The device worked very well for the first few days; After about a week the device stopped responding.I used two devices to measure the water level of an underground tank in the garden. Both devices failed after about 2-3 weeks after initially working very well. After unscrewing the lids, I discovered that condensation had formed and was dripping onto the circuit board, which caused the devices to fail. In my opinion this is a design flaw as the box has no air circulation.

Not water proof!
Installed and worked for about 3 weeks. Connecting to WiFi is not exactly easy but once connected it’s stays connected. After three weeks I found water inside the unit. It has a decent cap and cable pass through so it’s not rain leaking in. Has to be condensation. If I find a solution I will post and update.

Works perfectly!
Took 3 minutes to set up on my Wi-Fi through my Tuya app and a few minutes to install physically. Great product to keep track of my level in my water tank.

Drilling the hole in the tank
I didn't have nor could I find the exact size hole cutter for this in my local hardware, however, I used one of those adjustable size hole cutters that people would normally use to cut gypsum and it worked fine. When boring the hole in my own tank, I made the mistake of boring it in the middle of my tank and that meant that the adapter's plug was a bit tight. Not a complaint, just something to look out for.Update: After using it for some months, I feel as though they can improve the alerting system to only send an alert if it wasn't sent in the past x-minutes. The reason is because when the water is refilling and splashing about, it can get a little inaccurate and that means that your alert can get triggered several times per minute. This inevitably leads to you disabling the alert.

Good luck getting any warranty support...
I manage a 40 unit Houseboat community in Wilmington NC, and we've used these sensors for nearly 2 years and for the most part, they've worked pretty well to read and report grey water tank levels. I had 2 fail 7-8 months ago, and had to go through a whole tired process of sending video's and screenshots and testing and eventually they conceded and honored the warranty.2 weeks ago I had another 2 sensors go bad (one I had in stock was bad out of the box) I have emailed the listed email address several times to file a warranty claim and NOONE RESPONDS!!! If you wanna take a chance and buy it, when they work, they work pretty well, but personally, we will not use or endorse a product that does not support their warranty or respond to their customers.Jason B "The Cove Wilmington"
