Fringe...One of the Finest Shows on TV.
There's little more that can be said about this show. If you haven't seen it then you really need to see it. If you like cool, funny, edgy and cosmic sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal alternative dimensional storylines and fine acting then it's all here by the bucket full. One of J.J. Abrams finest creations. And now for a sacrilegious statement. It's better than Lost. Yup, I said it. This show in just five seasons perfectly encapsulates all that is wonderful about J.J. Abrams. Yes, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci do have credit here. Just watch it and enjoy this infectious and highly addictive cult viewing. Season one is just the initial launch pad. Hang on. It gets wild.

Mind-bogglingly brilliant
This is a great series. I was hooked the moment I first watched it. The cast is great and I felt for everyone of the main characters in the Fringe Team as they resolved to deal with the many challenges that faced them. Brilliant storylines, excellent plots and subplots which kept me gripped and entertained throughout. I now have the complete series on Blu-ray. Also, the soundtrack and snippets of music played within certain scenes were so effective and added superbly to the drama and its emotional context. Great acting; great scriptwriting and great music. It's brilliant when everything in a show comes together well, and Fringe is one of those shows which got everything right from the very beginning.

Extras and subtitles (Contains heavy spoilers)
Fringe. What to say? An incredible series. After having started watching Doctor Who after planet of the dead aired in uk I started expanding on scifi series and after a while I stumbled on this one. Started watching on tv I immediatly loved it. The story is amazing. The actors all incredible. Walter Olivia Peter and all the others.. don't even know where to start there is so much to talk. Episode after episodes of incredible cases and misteries, like the bald guys. Who are they? Why are they here? Why are they mentioned in a few frames of the opening titles? You progress through the story and more and more questions gets added till the ending of the series. Every episode is amazing. The past keeps returning. Can't say much to avoid spoilering people reading this but a must buy for scifi lovers like me. A unique package with all the series in dvd/blueray for a cheap price.Following is the complete list of the Extras, audio and subtitles.Season 1 to 4Audio: EnglishSubtitles: English, English for hearing impaired, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, SwedishSeason 5Audio: EnglishSubtitles: English, English for hearing impairedSeason 1Extras:Fringe: Deciphering the Scene: sidebars on every episodeDissected files: Unaired scenesThe Massive Undertaking: Docupods on select episodesUnusual Side Effects: Gag reelRoberto Orci's Production DiaryGene the CowBlu Ray exclusive (Only BD-Live): Commentary track for the final episode, "There's More than One of Everything," with writers Jeff Pinkner, J.R. Great Sci-Fi type series.
Elements of comedy & some great one-liners accompanied by the exceptional talent of John Noble (Walter Bishop).I have watched this entire Series several times on various TV channels, but jumped at the chance of owning it on Blu-ray when it was made available at a much reduced price.A must watch Series, with weird and wonderful fictional events, which may be perhaps a glimpse into our own bleak future. This is a Sci-Fi drama which truly deserved to have run on for much longer and, like many fans, I live secretly in the hope of a revival of this much loved and very quirky drama / comedic fiction, but highly functional Sci-Fi Series. Some exceptional writing, directorial talent & cinematography.John Noble, Joshua Jackson, what more could you ask for. Anna Torv is very easy to watch too, hmmmm ๐โค๏ธ๐งก๐

Brilliant show made beautiful through blu-ray, should have put it in a nicer dress though
The show: 5/5Simply the best Sci-Fi show this side of the millennium; a worthy successor to The X-Files with an excellent cast and (at least generally) a better sense of where it was going. The packaging: 3/5The outer container is good and simple, a thick card box containing 5 standard size Amaray blu-ray cases with the swing-style extra disc holders. As some have mentioned, you need to be careful to pick it up from the bottom if you keep it on a shelf, and I also don't like that both the sides have pictures of the front covers of all the discs on it instead of just a tasteful logo like on the front.I also have a serious problem with the packaging for season 5: instead of printing off an insert to contain a list of the episodes on the discs, synopsis and runtimes etc. like with the first 4 seasons, they printed it on the BACK OF THE COVER, so you have to remove the cover from the case if you want to read them (the blue case makes it difficult, even if you remove the third disc, and then parts of it are obscured by the disc holder)An admittedly milder complaint is with the menus on the discs too: the first two seasons have a loop of the Fringe theme, but it's at a horribly low bitrate and sounds awful, like someone's playing it through a phone or something. Later seasons went very fancy with the menus, especially season 5 which Cyberlink PowerDVD couldn't play (probably because it has HD video playing on the menus).
