Le Creuset Enamel On Steel Demi Tea Kettle with Metal Finishes, 1.25 qt, Sea Salt

This is so cute and sturdy. Yes, the lid is difficult to remove but it gets easier over time. Gentle whistle. Handle stays cool then just flip the spout cover to pour. Real quality! Wonderful purchase!

Purchased for a Christmas gift & the recipient loves it! The color is great-super neutral. They said it works really well & are so happy to have it. I paired it with teas and hot chocolate-great gift!

The media could not be loaded. Bought this to match my other LeCreuset collection. I have had mine for about 6mos now. I use it everyday. Looks beautiful on my stove. Heats up quickly. Whistle is not annoying but loud enough. Perfect size for 2 people. No rust inside. Does have small spot on bottom where enamel has worn off a little. Doesn't bother me, I turn that spot to the back. I am thinking I had it on too large of burner maybe?? If spot gets bigger I may reach out to company. I have many other LeCreuset enameled stock pots, they are excellent quality and customer service.

Wonderful and beautiful

Overall it’s great and what you’d expect from Le Creuset. Color is vibrant. Heats quickly. Some mentioned the whistle is faint, but that hasn’t been my experience. It won’t startle you out of your seat but certainly it’s plenty audible. The only small complaint I have is similar to others, which is that the lid is quite tight and requires a bit of oomph to loosen. Maybe it’ll have more give over time.

Wonderful color of the tea kettle. Had one before and loved it. Lasted for years. Just remember to empty it after use.

It's a well respected brand. It's cute. The handle is hot and the label peels off in water. Huge cost; larger disappointment. Would not recommend.Updated Jan 17 2024: I just wanted the buyer to know that I'm throwing this tea kettle away. It's a hazard. I had previously given it a one star. But, I'm not sure that's accurate. The brand label came off the because it was burning off from my gas stove. I have to use something to cover my hand to even pick it up because the handle is too hot. I also either alert my guest or ask them not to touch it for fear of injury. I am profoundly disappointed and will be contacting the seller for a refund.

The size is good, and the blue color is nice. The whistle is way too loud, so I have left the plug open so it doesn’t whistle. But then the water boils over. The other problem is that the lid is so tight that it’s always a struggle to get it on and off. I will keep it because it’s a good size and it heats quickly and otherwise it works pretty well.
