This Garmin InReach holder is surprisingly useful and actually helps. I use the Instinct 2 watch and InReach device together and it's actually really helpful to be able to have the Inreach strapped to the pack. You will feel the back of the holder a little bit on the shoulder strap but you get used to the feeling once it's fully set and in its proper spot. It locks and is easy to remove from the holder if you want to look at the device. Easy to use and highly recommend!

Works well for the price. Velcro isn't high quality but has lasted a year of use. Twist lock is a little tricky but works. Metal hasp on the bungee is trash, throw that away first

If you're using your Garmin Handheld and carrying a pack or a waist pack this product is a must. It converts the spine mount into a quarter turn mount like the edge uses. Really if you have an edge bicycle mount this product would make your spine mount device able to use your edge mounts also. I would buy this product again, actually I have 2 already, one for my day pack and one for my 2 day pack. In the spring time I will get a 3rd for my larger pack. That you guys from coming up with this product.

Good concept. I found the clip into the holder on the backpack a little loose. I placed a round piece of stick on loop velcro on the existing cushion. Also the coiled lanyard I feel is to long and with the clip a little loose could see my $300 GPS hitting the ground. Put a small carabiener on the backpack loop of the existing lanyard and through the lanyard I have on the bottom of my Garmin GPSMAP 66S. Long enough to unclip and work the GPS but if it comes unclipped it won't hit the ground.

Works great. Took it out on my hike the other day, wrapped it around my backpack shoulder strap and it stayed put. Be careful though, if you don't get it wrapped all the way around and you are wearing a dry-fit shirt.... the velcro will snag it the shirt. 🤦‍♂️

Just as ordered, but came in 3 shipments instead of one. It was a gift so arriving in one package would have been preferred.

I've replaced one of these three times now…The plastic clip that holds the Garmin breaks too easily. The last thing I want to do is to get out in the middle of nowhere and lose my garment because the bracket I got to mount it on my backpack failed.While I have the tether attached to it, for safety, I have a little to no patience for low quality products. This one breaks too easily, it becomes too brittle.

It's easy to put together, but to me, it's worthless. The unit keeps accidentally popping off if you barely touch it, so it's good that it has a tether cord otherwise my unit would've hit the ground. The cord itself keeps getting twisted up. I think the design was good in thought, but not practical at all. It's a shame that many products on Amazon are crappy in quality. I'll be seeking a replacement somewhere away from Amazon very soon. It's imperative I keep my hands free when going through rough terrain.
