Love taste of home cookbooks and this one did not disappoint. Lots of recipes, lots of pictures, most being fairly easy.

I love Taste of Home recipes so I didn't hesitate to order this book. This came in very handy over the holidays when we were preparing meals for family and friends. Many of the meals can be prepared ahead of time and kept in the fridge until it is time to pop them in the oven. The book includes breakfasts, lunches, dinners, appetizers, snacks and desserts. I especially liked the side dishes because I am always looking to do something a little different in addition to our classics. Our new favorite treat is the Chocolate Marshmallow Peanut Butter Squares - we couldn't stop eating them!

I just got this book today. I have so many cookbooks I haven't tried a single recipe from. This one is very nice, well arranged, and I love the personal stories people who submitted recipes shared. (Special thanks to the mom who wrote that the first time her son told her he loved her was when he helped her make the recipe she sent in. That was so touching and sweet.) I think I will actually use this cookbook. There is a recipe in here I have been searching for online and couldn't find. I was familiar with almost all of the ingredients (except one) and don't think anything will be too difficult to find in the local grocery store. There are some really interesting recipes for the slow cooker, too.

Nice reference to have on hand if you’re invited to a BBQ, Super Bowl party, picnic, etc. I find it much handier than trying to g**gle something and pair it down from there. Taste of Home has put together the best of the best recipes that travel well and feed a crowd.

A lot of the recipes are very similar to my family recipes so that was really unexpected. I love the layout of it as well and it has lots of pictures of the meals

Wow! I live this cookbook! It has so many good tasting, simple recipes that are so helpful for a busy mom/wife anyone really! Easy enough for a beginner cook or an old pro like me. Absolutely everything I have tried has been amazing.

It's a good book. Made a few things that we liked. Have a few more recipes highlighted to make.

I was really looking forward to this. But, I will have to try to return it. My excitement was put back in its box as I looked through the pages and didn’t see one thing that I could gleefully take to a get together. I didn’t ever imagine that was possible. Potlucks can be tough because people are often apprehensive to try something that they don’t recognize as a familiar dish…so I hoped this book was a solution to the “what can I bring” quandary. But, I think I would be better up arriving empty handed than slinking away without taking my still full bowl/dish home (so people would not know that I brought THAT.)
