Q: I wear between 8-8.5 in wide. Would 6-8 have enough stretch, or should I size up? I don't want lots of extra fabric bunching up.

They are very stretchy. The 9-11 have a lot of stretch. Depending on shoe brand I wear 9 or 10. They are really good socks multiple washes already and still in great shape. You would be safe with your actual size.
