Bluetooth Receiver, SZMDLX Portable Wireless Audio Aux Adapter Bluetooth 5.0 Car Kits with Clip Design (A2DP, Built in Microphone for Home and Car Audio with 3.5mm Stereo Output)

While I would like to give this a 5 stars I can't. It does everything as advertised but it has a mechanical flaw that probably has resulted in problems for many that have bought it in the past. The 3.5 mm jack does not fit properly into the SZMDLX wireless receiver plug. It doesn't matter if you use the 3.5 mm metal audio adapter or the 3.5 mm audio cable. When inserted fully, the jack goes into the plug too far and does not always provide a good connection. It the jack is pulled out (2/16") 0.1 mm from the plug, the jack makes perfect connection every time. Having worked in electronics my entire life, this is a problem internal to the SZMDLX plug and is a manufacturing problem. I do like the product and came up with a work around to solve this problem by placing 2 small metal washers on the jack to provide the proper spacing between it and the receiver.

The media could not be loaded.  I was skeptical at first, but this little thing has come in handy so many times. It works perfect for headphones that have a removable cable. It's also super nice to be ale to plug it into a pair of speakers with a port, or in a car with an aux port and no bluetooth support. Audio quality is amazing and there is no hiss or noise coming from the device when music is paused.

I am giving 5 stars mainly for the seller SZMDLX-US. This Bluetooth receiver works fine with iPhones in my home but does NOT work with my Sony XBR TV with A2DP Bluetooth audio. The Sony TV simply cannot 'discover' the receiver. And iPhone could pair with it immediately and works and sounds well. My primary use for the receiver is to use it with good wired headphones to listen to TV sound while family is asleep. I have other Bluetooth earphones and can connect with Sony TV without problem but they don't sound great.I raised the issue to seller and they worked with me promptly to understand the situation and then escalated to engineering team. After some communications it's determined to be compatibility situation. They quickly refunded even before I returned it to Amazon. Great customer satisfaction services.

Nothing could be simpler.Charge them, which takes a couple of hours or most.Pair them with your device, a one-button operation and, in my case, trouble-free with an iPad.Plug in your headset and you’re good to go.Inside an apartment, I couldn’t get more than about 15 feet transmission range before the audio began breaking up.Quite honestly, I’m not going to be using them at that range, so I don’t foresee any issues with this.Audio fidelity is excellent, recognizing that you are limited by the response of your headphones.I can’t report on battery life because I haven’t yet run it so long as to exhaust the battery.Overall, I am very satisfied with this adapter. I just hope it lasts.Jerry

This receiver never worked the way it was designed and stated to work. I received this item October 2019 and used it exclusively to listen to music from my LG phone. This purchase was to replace a Vivitar Bluetooth receiver that worked well, but whose battery life had gone down to about 2 hours after owning it for 2 years..Firstly, I never got anywhere near the battery-life range stated in the manual (5 - 7 hours). I actually tested this. Over several weeks I would completely recharge the receiver. Then whenever I would use it, I would tag the time I started to use it and tag the time when I stopped. I would do this until the battery was completely dissipated upon which I would add the total time use time for each charge. I did this several times over the span of several weeks. The most battery time I ever got out of one charge was just over 3 hours. That was the first time I tested the battery life. From that point onward, the battery life decreased; to the point where it was just 2 hours by March 2020.Then there was what happened two days ago. The receiver just stopped working. I turned the receiver on in preparation for a run. However, (and without a battery low alert), it turned off. I thought the battery had dissipated, which I thought was odd considering that I had never used it since the last full recharge just two days prior. I plugged the receiver to recharge it, the red light came on, and then I waited until the light went off - about 3 hours later. I attached the receiver to me headphones, then turned it on the pair it with my phone. It just would not come on at all.Just for the record, I didn't get the receiver wet, I didn't manhandle it, I didn't look at it funny, didn't fart on it, didn't abuse it: I didn't use it in any way other than the way it was intended to be used.Yet after five months, this receiver is no longer working.If I could give this product negative stars, I would.

It never cuts out like most esp this small! Look at all the accessories, I mean I have been using this device daily and have not charged it in 5 days. Great with any standard headset plug-device and makes the newer "fruit" devices useful for music again! The audio is as loud or louder than the best 1/8" audio outputs I've seen and my voice call quality through the amazing mic is pure perfection. And you can use it to make anything with this input option become a piece of Bluetooth audio perfection with zero cutouts or distortion. And check out the pouch, add-ons to plug it in to most anything with the aux input, and a real leather snap that fits the receivers clip oerfectly so you can easily clip it to your belt loop or whatever your heart desires! I hated Bluetooth audio tech until this device changed my entire belief foundation on Bluetooth tech altogether. This company did it right!

Wow, this little device can turn an obsolete pair of headphones and bring them into the 21st Century. The sound quality is excellent, range, pairs right away with multi devices at the same time. Easy on and off button - blue is on red is off - blinks red and it is off. Battery life - for me lasts for a couple of weeks and I use my headphones everyday. The price was right when I bought them and I love them and they work with any 3.5 jack plug. Great device
