Great for winter
I read that babies shouldn’t be in their car seat in thick coats as it prevents the straps from being tight enough against their body and doesn’t keep them as safe in the event of a crash. That was my main reason for this purchase. I also find it much more convenient than putting a coat off and on a tiny infant to go in and out. The baby likes it too! Was a bit difficult to figure out how to get it in the seat with the straps the first time, no directions provided but once we figured it out very happy with it.

Cannot be used for carseat!
I was extremely excited to use this until I went to put it on. I should have read the reviews. Please take my word, this is not capable of being used for a carseat. Carseats are 5 point harnesses. This cover only has three points. It would only work for a baby swing or or something. The shoulder strap holes only provide two level options. It's completely useless and horrible trickery advertising.
