Saving old folks
We added 2 of these into a double-wide doorway in our home that has a single step down into the family room, because our elderly relatives kept having trouble going from room to room at gatherings. It has been a life saver. We love the simplicity of it and how they can be folded up when not in use.

Very good gripping handle
I use this to help me climb two steps in my house it's mounted into my door jamb and it holds my weight (#175) easily and is very useful if you have trouble climbing stairs, but you still got strength in your arms

Great entry door assist handle for those who need a little assistance...
Purchased this for my wife as she struggles with balance and strength due to Parkinson's Disease. She needed a little help getting up one step and into the house. This assist handle has done the trick. It is strong, it was easy to install and has done the trick for her safety and stability issues!

The media could not be loaded. Strong flip handle hides against doorframe. Works well. Other buyers complained that the screws supplied strip too easily so we used our own screws.

Excellent for injury assistance
Broke my leg and needed something to grab on to when stepping up to the landing and then stepping inside with my crutches. It made me feel very secure having my crutch in one hand and the other on this stable handle. Discreet and easy enough to install and remove. Installed on the inside of the door jamb

Worked so well I then bought another.
Used one first to help a 99 year old step in and out of garage. Some months later now in a wheelchair added one on bathroom doorway so he could get in and out of wheelchair.
