It Works!!
My cable box blew out its transformer and Comcast wanted me to go over to their offices to get a new one. So I decided not to make the trip and bought a new one from Amazon. It works as expected. No surprises one way or the other, and more important it is an exact replacement for the transformer that came with the cable box.
