Great
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Second one of these I've tried on Amazon and this is perfect. Very thick and worth the price

Thick but really works.
Seat is fairly thick but seems to work really well to protect the area that usually get painful towards the end of the wkout. I thot the thickness might be problematic but it wasn’t. All good.

Very comfortable for short rows. One concern for long rows (not confirmed yet).
It's very comfortable on the "sit-bones". When I first tried the seat I "noticed" the front edge against the backs of my thighs. Not enough to be a problem on a short row. I haven't tried a long (10k+) row on it yet to see if "notice" becomes an irritant after some time.

Good for Marathon
I bought this to see how it would hold up on long rows as I was still getting pretty bad “Erg Butt” with the thinner cushion I had. My thinner cushion did fine for anything below about 25,000 meters but once I went above this…it could be a problem without taking breaks or using a lot of anti-chaffing product. This cushion is great for marathons on a rower. I literally just finished one and no erg butt. It does position you a tad higher than other cushions but it’s not really a problem.

Rowing seat cushion
Best little seat cushion!!! It gives support and is very comfortable. It fits perfectly on our Concept 2 rowing machine.

Worth the extra cost, doesn’t squish down
I don’t use it for the rower but for all other machines at my gym where the seats are just worn down and dig into my sit bones and glutes. i tried one similar in the $20 price range and it just sunk immediately; this one does not it stays raised and is comfortable and not too firm. i would highly recommend spending the extra money on this one compared to a cheaper one in the $20 price range.

It was Just Okay for Me
I have very boney butt and it would hurt after a couple of minutes on my new rower. I research a lot of pads and purchased this one. It was okay but it raises you up pretty high and it wasn't that much more comfortable. So I purchased the Home and Rowe silicone seat. I liked it better than the 2K seat because it was not as thick and it's unique shape lets you adjust where your butt makes contact, so you can adjust the pressure points. It's pretty good. But I thought there must be something better, at least for me. Next I purchased the Hornet Watersports seat. It's made with polyurethane foam. It's fairly thin and it shape is similar to the Concept 2 rower seat. I can't tell you why, but for me, this one was the most comfortable. It has just enough padding to take the edge off my butt but thin enough not to significantly change your sitting height. I suspect pad choice is personal but the Hornet Watersports seat worked best for me. Also, it was the least expensive of the three.
