Yes, these socks are expensive, so wash with care. Nobody wants to lose a sock in the wash at 20 bucks a pair. That said, they are excellent and in spite of being wool, they wash and dry beautifully. I’ve given up my cheap hiking socks from Costco and switched to these. Tested them out on some longs hikes and they were so comfy, even in hot weather.

Still testing the durability (might take a while hopefully) but these are great quality socks so far.I back the breathability. Material fits great. Fits great. I recommend checking the sizing chart to make sure where you stand.

Got for hiking in Great Smokey Mountains National Park. They were extremely comfortable and I like the look a lot as well. I would recommend them

Comfortable socks that are worth the price. I've wore these socks a bunch since getting them and they stay in place and keep my feet cool. I wore them while hiking in Oregon and during the hot summer in Tennessee and they do a great job.I also bought the Feetures Elite Low Cushion No Show Sock and I perfer those over the Smartwool socks, but these are a great option as well. I also own a bunch of Bombas socks and prefer the Smartwool over those.One con to these socks is if you have dogs the dog hair will stick to the socks. That is the only reason that i didn't rate these socks with 5 starts. Didn't have that issue with the Feetures.

These merino wool socks are great and are very well made. The targeted cushions are thick and help prevent foot fatigue. The tab on the back of the socks is easy to grip and protects the heel from blisters. The socks are breathable and dry quickly. Merino wool is very good at preventing odors and doesn't stink. If you use a dryer, the socks will shrink and should be hung to dry. They are great socks and worth the price.
