I bought the SI belt yesterday. I have an 8 month old baby that was born weighing just over 9 lbs. He’s now 28 lbs and is a pain to carry around literally. I’ve been having pain in my lower back, right buttock and down my right leg since I was 7 months pregnant because of how big my boy was. The pain has gotten worse over time and within the past month it’s gotten so bad that I can’t even walk. I’m basically bed ridden half the day unless I absolutely have to get up to feed my baby or do house chores which almost kills me and has me crying in tears because the pain of just standing is excruciating. My leg goes numb and starts tingling from the pain in my lower back as well with this sharp pain in my right buttock. I have always been an active person that loves to be outside and up and moving. I will be going to see neurologist in October to see what is exactly going on with my body and I pray that surgery will not be required, I’m only 35! Well the reason I’m writing this is to help others in my situation. I neverrrrrrrrr write reviews but because this belt has helped alleviate my pain to where I can walk and at least somewhat be active I wanted to share so I can possibly help others. Trust me when I tell you. My DR. Has prescribed me lortabs, Percocet, gabentina, and nothing helps. When I tell you this pain almost makes me feel paralyzed I mean that with no exaggeration. Thank God this belt is helping me. I haven’t took any medicine at all today besides Motrin. I usually would have taken two lortabs by now. If you feel anything like me I would try this belt. Make sure you put it low enough where it should be and make it as tight as you can take it. I think the compression helps and keeps your hips lined up properly along with helping the pelvic area. It just overall helps support you. I can now carry my big boy without suffering so much but just because you feel the belt helping you I suggest you still don’t overdue yourself like lifting too many heavy things and bending thinking your back and pain has healed. Take things easy and take care of yourself. I hope if you purchase this that you have positive results as well!

ReviewI have worn this SI belt for 2 weeks. I wore it around the house (no significant change in pain) and kept it on when I slept. When I got up the pain was basically the same. I was disappointed until my son, who has discussed back pain with his numerous friends with medical and physical training experience, informed me that the SI belt does provide some stabilization of the back, hips and pelvis but pain would persist until some intervention procedures are made to the area. He suggested several exercises to stretch and strengthen the area.I could feel specific areas being targeted and the pain diminishing immediately after stopping the exercises. I was told to continue the exercises and to arrange treatment with a medical professional if the pain returned or persisted.After completing the stretching and strengthening exercises I continued to wear the belt. 90% of the pain did not return. There was occasional pain when I made movement that put excessive stress and weight on certain joints.The Parperna SI belt’s description is fairly accurate. It is lightweight, comfortable and durable surviving an average of 15-20 daily removals a day. The adjustable belt allows you to customize the strength of the compression to meet your needs and remains securely on your hips. The hook & loop closure is strong and easily adjustable. The main belt fits comfortably on your hips with two additional stretchy auxiliary compression straps to add extra compression on a specific areas.Overall this is an excellent quality product for its purpose and price.

I had lumbar surgery about a year ago and the "back brace" my surgeon recommended didn't provide support where I needed it. After purchasing the sacro belt for my daughter & she telling me how much it helped her, I bought one for myself. I was AMAZED at the pain relief & the support is just where I need it!Unfortunately, it doesn't get rid of all pain, but it does reduce the pain significantly! I wear it almost every day and I can get SO much more done than I could without the belt.Also, after trying my belt for less than two minutes, my mother bought one & uses it almost daily as well.However, I'm giving 4 stars for comfort because the outside bands could use a bit of velcro to keep them in place. My daughter & I have curvy figures and the outer bands tend to ride up. To be fair, my mother has a less curvy figure and doesn't have so much of an issue with this. Other than this, the belt is excellent; it seems to be well constructed and seems like it will last a fair amount of time.(I have sewn some velcro into the inside of the outer bands and it works perfectly.)

Bought for SPD in pregnancy, worked great and did provide some relief. Liked how tight it got and that it stayed put.

I bought this because I was having some SI joint and lower back issues. I have worked with it on hidden under my clothes and slept in it. I really like how it is adjustable. I will be using this product for awhile and recommend it. It is easy to use it helps keep that area of my body stable. Great support and size.

The belt fits snuggly and seems to provide support. It helps diminish pain, but the width of the belt is not the best for an SI belt. Wish I would have realized this before buying. It bunches in the back. I will look for a less wide SI belt that is more comfortable and supportive for lower back pain and SI pain.

This keeps your core and hips stable. Great for wearing when you need a bit more stability, back issues are no joke. It makes a world of difference walking on uneven ground too. Very good quality, try it out!!

Great product. The instant pain relief was amazing! 2 of my friend tried mine on and found the same relief. They both ordered one! I wish I had gotten a smaller size though. I seem to have a lot of excess belt when I draw it tight.
