MYTHIC WORLD: COLOUR TIMELESS LEGENDS

First off I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews about this book. The clue is kind of in the name of "mythic" kerby is well known for his spin on pictures so I don't know why they're all saying it's a bad book.Every time Kerby releases a book I tell myself this is the best one yet. But this one really is!! The pages quality feel different to the last books, they're more smoother and seem a little thicker. The book is the usual sewn together then the cover glued on spine.The covers for this book feel so luxurious, like I say you can tell some thought has gone into the production of the book, I love that it feels embossed on the back!The pictures are of stunning quality, I brought two so I can have one just to look at!

Lesson #1 - Always check out pre-release flip-thrus. My review of this book sadly is a disappointed one. I like Kerby Rosane's previous books and illustrations but a lot of the images in this one are just disturbing. Can't see myself enjoying colouring these, while staring at things that look demonic!Lesson #2 - Don't pre-order! The original price stated was £8.99. Upon release on the 14th April, I was charged £7.99. Now today 15th April 2022. It's now £5.00!! Never pre-ordering again - ugh!

Bit of a Kerby Rosanes fan so a bit biased. Love all his books and this one is no difference. Some great artwork.

Excellent colouring book with alot of variety of different mythical creatures to colour. The Only downside to this book is some pictures cover two pages so i cant colour the edges and if you wanted to put one in a frame that would be a problem luckily there is only a few pictures on two pages so i really dont mind.

Yet again pictures on both sides of the pages,I can only use pencils otherwise the colours bleed through. I can't pull the page out to put in a frame as most of them I like the back of the pages. I have mentioned this before,he is one of my favourite artists but I might not get anymore books because of the same issue
