Arguably the best portable speaker I've ever used. I took this with me to the beach, to the park, in my bed as a theatre quality speaker while watching something lying down/trying to fall asleep, and even in the shower. There's been a handful of times where it's even fallen INTO the water soaked (not completely submerged in water) tub/floor while I was showering and still persisted. After a long time of accidental dropping, rolling off of the bed, and getting water in/on it, it's finally begun to fizzle out and die. I thought it was an internal battery lifespan thing so I replaced the battery and immediately tested it to see if it'd work again, but no it's internal/the motherboard. Honestly for how much light abuse I've put this little remarkable speaker through, I'm genuinely and pleasantly surprised that it's lasted so long. I'm absolutely going to purchase it again.I'm a music producer so I'm a stickler for audio clarity. It doesn't feel bass boosted to hell and back or overly bright. It's very even tone-wise, and it can get pretty loud for parties or outdoor settings, but not SUPER LOUD like a big box speaker could. Obviously it doesn't have a giant subwoofer so the frequency range is 76hz - 18khz, which is still pretty good because your kick drums will still be fine and resonant harmonics from saturated subs/808s will still be audible.2 years of usage and it gave out. The connection is great too. I can be connected to my phone from a different room and still hear it play without any hiccups or disconnects.Honestly, you get what you pay for. If you wanna gamble with a cheaper option that could potentially die on you within a year or less, you can, but if you want to spend the little extra dough on something you know you'll get use out of on a regular basis don't cut corners and get this little guy.

I was surprised how good this little speaker sounded. I had purchased the JBL Xtreme 4 speaker but after downloading the app and adjusting the EQ the way I liked it and putting it in several different places trying to get that BIG sound everybody talked about it just wasn’t worth the high price so I returned it. So I took a chance on the JBL Flip6 and to be honest I was pleasantly surprised. Good bass and very clear mid and highs. As far as price per sound quality goes, the Flip6 is a winner. And I saved enough money compared to the Xtreme4 to easily buy another Flip6 to pair for stereo sound.

After owing over a year this is my opinion. This awesome speaker is the best I’ve ever owned in this type. The sound is amazing even by the pool. The thing is waterproof solid. I’ve had it inside the pool several times going 6 feet down and no problem. The only thing that could improve slightly is battery life. I don’t get the 12 hours they claim. It’s more like 9-10. A little expensive for $100. I gave $85 on sale. Of course not the sound of larger speakers but it devours others in this size.

I've been a fan of JBL speakers for over 10yrs. I've had the Flip5 over 5yrs, I really like it but the battery is finally not charging so well. It still works if plugged in. So I decided to get the Flip6 and it's a real good improvement. USB-C, better sound, great bass! I expect it to last many years. I'm very happy with it.

I ordered this JBL Bluetooth speaker for Father's Day. It was easy set up connecting to my husband's phone. The volume is controlled easily. The range is good, he can leave his phone on the kitchen table and take this speaker outside and still has incredible sound. It is narrow enough to fit in a truck cup holder. I had chosen the camouflage only because my husband is a hunter. The color is exactly what he likes.

Meh. Does the job... but expecting more boom (bass/treble range lacking) Battery appears to have good life. Connected to my iphone blue tooth but will NOT to amazon Echo Dot. Says it's connected but the Echo says it cannot find device. I figure it's an issue with the echo dot as it connects to phone and other devices. But cannot confirm.

Speakers have really come a long way. 5 years ago this would've cost like $300 and not had anywhere near the same sound quality or battery life. This thing get surprisingly loud if you need it to. Otherwise the clarity of the sound and the bass levels are acceptable. You have to realize a small speaker will never function like a full setup. That being said I'm beyond satisfied bringing this with me on trips or outside without sacrificing sound quality. It's cheap, it works, it sounds good, it lasts a while, and it's very small and portable. There isn't anything I could think complain about.

My son bought this speaker, but now everyone in the family wants to borrow it. We have older cars, without blue-tooth connections, so we set this on the dash. It has GREAT sound. We had ANKER speakers before, but this is much superior. The round design doesn't work well on the dash, but my son made a little stand. It connects well and the battery life is pretty good. But it is a SPEAKER, so SOUND it what matters most and for being so small, this one really delivers!
