Never knew I needed a journal like this to set my vision and lead me to a great year. It's not a daily planner/goal tracker. but it helps you reflect on the previous year and set a vision for the new year and break it down. Instructions can be a little better as I felt lost at times, but there are great prompts to think about and set up your goals.

This journal goes beyond the SMART planning system and gets to the HEART of the matter and is so much more fun to use in that way. Because of its holistic approach, the tasks aren't daunting but STEPS to keep you on purpose. The undated style keeps looming deadlines that trigger procrastination at bay and it really is a pleasure to see what you've accomplished during the monthly check-ins. Three months in and I'm totally crushing it and happy with this journal and planner!

There are more I came across, but you get the gist. It's nice overall, but I personally don't find a book with even one or two errors like this, giftable.

This fabric-covered journal begins with thoughtful questions to lead you to reflect on and learn from the year before. Then it guides you to choose a theme for the year to come, and to list goals in multiple areas of your life:health, self growth, giving, love, relationships, creativity and learning, spiritual, recreation, happiness, financial, professional, adventures and travel.Next comes a planning section that invites you to develop a specific plan with resources and action steps, followed by a timeline, and then pages for the weeks and months to track your progress during the year.There are two fabric tape bookmarks attached.This is a very practical book to help you set and achieve goals.

I use this type of Intelligent Change Journal for a business orientated young adult workshop to encourage retrospective reflection and goal setting. I particularly liked this journal for a few reasons:• The durable traditional appearance of the hard cover gave a professional polish to the book; promotes a personal pride in the written words – conveys that the young adults’ words are notable and valuable;• The Table of Contents’ page that outlined the year’s expectations;• Additional pages for notes and the “week of” labels in the Weekly Review section of the book;• Each section offered inspiring quotes by different authors and probative questions to bolster honest responses from the participants, and;• Two cotton bookmark holders, because we often discuss more than one life experience during a workshop’s session and the bookmarks served as convenient marker references for later review.I was disappointed, though, that one of the two cotton bookmark holders was flawed and pieced back together with glue by the seller. For the price of this book, those types of imperfections should be nonexistent. Overall, the bookbinding of the Intelligent Change Journal was professionally executed and when the pages are filled, adults and young adults, alike, will have a forever keepsake of their written words. The journal was adequately packaged and shipping was prompt.

Not as great as it seems. Prompts are redundant and not all inspiring. Wouldn't recommend.
