A decent 2000KVA inverter in this form factor
Microtek inverters have a rated output of 210v which is ridiculously low. It does support 1.5KW load which is nice.One month after installation it is producing a loud humming noise. Microtek service was not reachable, but the next day connected within a minute. For some strange reason was connected to their Tamil helpdesk even though I selected English. The agent went out of his way to accommodate even though I told him I understand Tamil, but I am not fluent enough to explain the problem. He spoke to me in English and registered a ticket. Impressed.The service technician called me within an hour and came home the same evening. Turned out it was the fan making the noise. He opened the case and there was a protective plastic shroud around the fan. He tore it down and it fixed the issue.The fan was not fixed down with screws, it is held with plastic plugs. And a plastic shroud also held with plastic plugs. I am wondering if they did it for reducing noise, but looks flimsy to me.
