My husband is a greaser 1950's guy, he uses this only. He loves it! One tin lasts forever for him. It has high shine, seems to hold his hair somewhat in place but is still flexible. Does not wash out well.

I love purchasing this item as gifts for my brother or significant other. It lasts a long time and doesn’t cause any flaking. You might want to use a plastic spoon instead of your fingers, otherwise, it’ll begin to have a bad odor over time. I’ve used it for random flyaways, and it keeps those stubborn hairs down. It can be tough to remove, but I’ve found that clarifying shampoo helps to completely wash it out. I am a loyal customer, and would highly recommend this product!

Honestly if you are one for texture I definitely recommend you to get the Murray’s light greese instead of this one. This one is very thick on the hands and hair unlike the Light. However it still do the same job.

This is what I wear in my hair at work when I want to save my more expensive oil based pomades for out of work. I work near large industrial fans and this stuff doesn't disappoint. It holds my hair in place all day. It's thick af, and irritating to wash out.If you are new to oil based pomades I highly recommend looking up how to degrease your hair so you can wash it. I use Aussie's 3 minute miracle deep conditioner. Apply it in your hair dry. Spread it just like your pomades. Leave it in for 15 minutes and then rinse it out in the shower. It will remove 90% of the oil. If you need 100% of the oil removed I recommend using a water based pomade the following day (and possibly one more degreasing with the deep conditioner) to pull the rest of the oil out. Definitely a must if you're planning a visit to the barber.

I have tried so many gels and pomades over the past 10 years and I’ve never found one I loved as much as this one. I previously used got to be glue and it was ok. I felt like it gave me helmet hair but it did the job. I was truly amazed by how little of Murray’s pomade you need to use. A little seriously goes a long way. The only complaint I have is it’s more expensive on Amazon. You can get these for $2.68 at Walmart so for the same thing you save $5 by getting them from Walmart.

This has been my go to for years now. Great hold and shine. Much better than the $15+ stuff at CVS and Walgreens.
