Good for maybe two rides
Read all the poor reviews but didn’t see many options, original gearbox was maybe five years old and this new one lasted for probably two rides

Poor quality - do not buy!
I used this as a direct replacement for a Peg Perego JD Gator (old style). In appearance it is very similar to the original, but after less than two hours of normal use the gears totally stripped out (using the stock 12v system — not using a higher voltage battery conversion like some folks).I exchanged it for another replacement, hoping that the first unit I got was just faulty……same experience with replacement #2. Total waste of time and money—-do yourself a favor and avoid!

Broke the first day
Installed just fine, but they stripped out on the first day. Poor quality.

My 3 year old rode it for maybe 2 hours and the gears completely stripped out

Total Junk
These are junk. The gears strip out so quickly it was ridiculous. The company sends replacement parts that are junk too.
