I've been wanting to find a new go to scent to wear and decided to try Derek Lam 10 Crosby - A Hold On Me. I have not tried other perfumes from this brand before, but Amazon got me with the power of suggestion and a great product write up. It mentions "Black Pepper Madagasgar, Cinnamon Tree Leaf Essence, Egyptian Jasmine, Honey Accord, Patchouli and Ebony Accord" as being part of the scent notes. Now I am definitely not a perfume aficionado and will not wow you with technical descriptions but I can tell you my experience.I typically do not like floral scents, heavy scents, or things that are too sweet. I tend to like warm, clean scents. I'm complicated, I know. This scent is very clean - a bit refreshing. It is lightweight, not overpowering, but still delightful to your nose. My fiancé (who dislikes everything) actually said he liked the smell of it (WINNING!). It doesn't smell childish and it also doesn't smell 'old'. It did make me nervous to buy a scent online without testing it first, but I have no regrets about this one.The set itself is well appointed. It comes in a bright yellow box that is very sturdy. The majority of the box is actually a lid that pulls off and reveals the 3 items on display while still being safely stored. Brilliant packaging - keeps everything safe for shipment/travel while also making a positive impact while opening. It would make a great gift. There is a large size perfume, a small travel size perfume, and a fragrance mist. I've never bought fragrance mist so I will have to look into this one more to see how I might use it. A little bit goes a long way so I think this set is very affordably priced. You get a lot of bang for your buck here!Highly recommend.

I am pickier about perfume than I am body mist because they are stronger and seem to last a much longer period of time. For that reason, I want something that I am actually going to ENJOY smelling all day. I do not like anything with a cheap, generic floral perfume smell. I'm honestly not a big fan of florals in general because they tend to be very overpowering. I was pleasantly surprised by this fragrance!While it does definitely have floral notes, I found it to be a bit on the sweet and spicy side, too. It's quite lovely! The scent is fresh, clean, and doesn't smell stale after wearing it for several hours. I still get frequent wafts of it throughout the day which I love! Two of my close friends asked what fragrance I was wearing because they also really liked it!I get migraines from overpowering perfume and this one didn't bother me at all. I thought it was pretty light compared to most perfumes I have tried.The gift box is colorful, vibrant, yet simple. You get a nice assortment of sizes in this set - a 3.4 oz eau de parfum spray, a 0.34 oz eau de parfum spray (perfect purse size), and an 8 oz fragrance mist.While I would personally never select a fragrance for someone else since they are so personal, this one would make a wonderful gift if you just knew that this scent would be loved by the recipient! It is certainly gift worthy! :)

The set includes a 3.4 oz Eau De Parfum Spray, 0.34 oz EDP spray, and a 8 oz fragrance mist. Each bottle sprays easily and disperses a good amount of fragrance. I found the fragrance to have a very clean and simply happy scent. It wasn’t overwhelming or dominant. The notes that are most noticeable to me are jasmine, honey, and cinnamon. It is an ideal balance of floral, spice, and sweet. According to the manufacturer, the major notes are Black Pepper Madagascar, Cinnamon Tree Leaf Essence, Egyptian Jasmine, Honey Accord, Patchouli, and Ebony Accord. Once sprayed, I noticed it stayed on for hours. The EDP spray is ideal to keep in a purse, carry on bag, or overnight bag. The packaging for each bottle is very simple and yet sleek. Each bottle fit comfortably in my hand and were held securely in the gift box. I am really impressed with the Derek Lam 10 Crosby A Hold On Me Set and I highly recommend it!

Perfume Scent Notes: Black Pepper Madagasgar, Cinnamon Tree Leaf Essence, Egyptian Jasmine, Honey Accord, Patchouli and Ebony Accord！But the persistence of the fragrance is almost non-existent. After more than an hour, the fragrance can hardly be smelled!

I absolutely love this scent. I had a small tester that was great so I decided to treat myself and order the full size. I thought it was a good value for the size of the container so I went for it. The scent was perfect, but sadly it barley lasts. Gone in less than half an hour even if sprayed on fabric (yes, I sprayed it on a T-shirt just to see). I wouldn't have expected it to last a whole day as it is a light scent but I certainly expected it to last longer than it did. Even way over-sprayed myself and still it was gone. Some reviewers did claim this but I like it so much I figured I'd try it anyway.

This set comes with 2 spray bottles and a mister. I love the bright yellow packaging, this set all looks lovely and very giftable in the box. Having 3 bottles of the same scent is nice because I can keep one at work, one at home and one in my car. I love the scent it is pleasant with just a hint of patchouli. A lot of scents are very overwhelming to me but, this is not one of them. Just a squirt will last several hours and keeps me smelling nice. I have received several compliments while wearing it. The sprayers all function well, distributing a nice even mist that dries quickly and does not drench or stain clothes.
