Perfect for adding support and cushion to Converse All Star Shoreline Knit (low-top)
I've tried many different inserts in the past to attempt to add some cushion and support to the notoriously unsupportive flat energy-sucking Converse shoes, both low tops and high tops, and also the knit slip ons (Chuck Taylor All Star Shoreline Knit). The problem especially with the knit slip ons is the heel is rather low and adding any extra internal height inside the shoe with cushioned inserts not only brings the foot up at top of the shoe (above the arch where the laces are) such that they become uncomfortably tight, it also brings the heel up to where it slips slightly with every step. Not really slipping all the way out, but I feel my heel slipping slightly out with every step and it's annoying. I'd concluded there was no insert that could solve this conundrum a few years ago and gave up.Then on a whim, having bought these Dr. Scholl's Float-On-Air inserts for some others shoes, I tested them out in my Converse knit slip ons, and was amazed and bemused to find that they added cushion, support AND did not cause any heel slippage when I walked. This is an amazing feat! Admittedly, when compared against some other cushioned inserts that I also bought from Dr. Scholl's, they are slightly thinner and slightly less cushioned, but thanks to their shape; cupping the heel, and good arch support, they still overall provide a VERY noticeable cushioned feeling and spring in my step when added to the Converse slip on. They've struck the perfect balance for these shoes with not changing the fit, but giving enough cushion, shape and spring to make them totally WALKABLE now, instead of feeling like the shoes drain my energy with every step. I love the look of Converse but not how much harder they make simply walking, but no I no longer have to compromise! I'm back here to write this review and order more pairs to transform all my other Converse shoes :)

Works well, feels good, but it is thick. Make sure you've got room in your shoe.
It works and it's comfortable. However, be aware that these are thick. I have some slim fitting shoes. With these and thick socks my feet feel like they will burst from my shoes. I was hoping some use would push the foam down a bit, but it hasn't yet. That's a testament to the quality, in fact, that the foam doesn't get crushed after a few weeks. Anyway, I should have gotten the thinner inserts.

Comfortable for about 6 weeks
I'm a carpenter so I am on my feet all day. I always have some sort of insert in any shoe I wear just to make it through the day. I'm 6'3" and about 250 so my shoes take a beating. I bought these in mid October and found them to be very comfortable. Good amount of cushion, they manage my foot temperature well or at least don't make me feel like my feet are sweating. I'm in late November now and they are shot. The cushion is gone and they no longer have capacity for managing my foot temp. In the end, they did what I wanted but at this price point I was hoping for another few weeks. I regularly use the CVS brand double air cushion inserts and those last about 4 weeks but cost much less. Given the added comfort though, I will consider buying these again, I'm trying a different insole right now.

Constant pressure
Worn with Hoka shoes, which already have great padding but I wanted a refresh to comfort since I’m on my feet most of the day for work. 6 hours into my shift and I’m taking them out. They are soft but seem to apply constant pressure against my sole which is causing pain. Easy to fit to the shoe but I will have to try something else.
