Great value and very user friendly

I got this to help maintain the humidity of my piano. Its well recommended by many technicians.The Venta is easy to use and is relatively quiet. The hygrometer accuracy is +10% from my calibrated hygrometers. However this depends on the size of the room. Im currently using this for an 18 sq metre room.It takes a while for the humidity to rise dependent on the room. I had humdity levels of 36% and below and wanted a consistent 50%.This unit brings if up to about 50% but takes a few days. I currently use it to maintain around the 50 area and do not use it as often due to the increase in RH naturally.The only downside is the unit requires specific venta cleaning and additives which you cant buy in UK and they are expensive.UpdateThe humidistat isn't great, after refilling the unit it cant detect the humidity properly. Ive found it thinks the room is 58% humidity when infact its 40% because of this the auto function doesn't start if your target js 50%.The humidity only reads properly if you manually adjust it to full fan speed.There is also a clicking squeeking noise on the gearsNo response from Venta Service team
