The ones i received were both the same size. 9" x 11" x 1.5"

Use a template to cut out the size cake you want.

Q: can these pans be used to bake casseroles in the oven?

The sides of the pan are not very high, it would make a pretty shallow casserole. You also need to place a pan underneath it as it is flexible and can't sit on your oven rack. I'd say it would not be great for a casserole.
