Tagine.
It's beautiful! It arrived right on time and it cooks great. 5.5 L is a little smaller than I'm used to, but I will adjust. I would buy another one just to have an extra one or as a gift. The packaging was so thoughtful.

A Beautiful Tagine
My first time to order a Tagine after lots of research. Wanted to support women who made this one- I have to say it is SOO Beautiful. This is a large Tagine, which can cook a lot of food.Packaged so well with many layers of bubble wrap (which I was very happy to see), no worries about it breaking. Box was nice and sturdy.I followed directions for easily curating dish before first use. I made beef short ribs with onions, potatoes and squash for my first trial dish- beef very tender, potatoes cooking perfectly and squash had a "perfect bite" without being mushy. My next dish- chicken with preserved lemons and olives- yummo.Very easy clean-up, nothing stuck to the dish. This is a beautiful and very functional cooking dish. I did order and use the heat diffuser without any difficulty. You can get a smaller, plain Tagine on Amazon website, but I would say to order this one - it supports Tunsian women who make/decorate them, and holds a good amount of food, so invite friends over and enjoy great food.

Excellent Tagine pot
I absolutely love my tagine pot. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but also such a unique vessel to cook with. I have been using it to cook authentic Moroccan recipes with great success. The large pot can be heavy especially when filled with food items...so use caution.

Pretty and nicely made tagine
The tagine is really pretty and nicely painted. The top and base are sturdy and well made. It looks great on my shelf and gives the lovely, warm and rustic effect I wanted, so I'm happy with it. I did initially receive a mismatched top and base but the seller was responsive and sent a replacement.

Expect broken product and no support
If manufacturer remedies this issue I will update this review. Please listen to all the bad reviews…. Product arrived CRACKED in half so it was unusable. Contacted manufacturer by phone and email (with pictures) and they never responded. Horrible waste of money. Amazon will require YOU to return it (after already spending $100!!)!!! Even though it is completely broken. And read other reviews, Amaz0n doesn’t count the bad reviews because they say it’s shipping fault, but they don’t replace the items either. Don’t waste $100!!!!!!!

I LOVE my fair trade tagine
I love making tagines (the food) and looked for a tagine (the cooking/serving dish) for a long time. While there are a lot of inexpensive, lightly used tagines of unknown origins available, I was so happy when I found this one - the perfect choice for me.In addition to the used tagine market, you can buy new tagines from high quality manufacturers, but I just couldn’t get excited about buying such a traditional cooking dish from Emile Henri or Le Creuset, both French companies, particularly knowing that the French colonized North Africa. I wanted either a local or North African potter. Here’s why I love this tagine:1) I particularly appreciated that it was made by Tunisian potters, since the tagine is a North African tradition. My understanding is that the vendor is a fair trade company that gives back to the craftsmen, which was important to me. (I couldn’t find any third party verification of its fair trade status and just believed them.)2) It’s gorgeous.3) It’s lead free.I intended to cook in it but found that it was easier and faster to cook the food in my Dutch oven or pressure cooker and then serve in this tagine. This cookware/serving dish is a piece of art that shouts special occasion while paying homage to the culinary roots of tagines. I display it on a shelf in my living room when it’s not in use because it is so beautiful.

Great product and great customer service!
I got this Tagine as part of the Black Friday sale that just wrapped up. I had just gotten familiar with tagine and Moroccan cooking and decided to just take the plunge. These tagines are genuine tagines, hand-made and clay. Unfortunately that means they're not always perfect and that was the case with mine. I instantly let Kamsah know and they made some suggestions.I went ahead and tried making a dish in the tagine. It didn't go well! The lid didn't fit right and created a mess on the stove and a lot of smoke in the house. I contacted and eventually called the guys at Kamsah and let them know what happened. No problem, full exchange (I didn't want a refund, I wanted the pot!) and they were responsive right away. I really can't say enough good things about the two guys I interacted with. They were attentive to my issues and pleasant throughout. And I'll still get a new tagine pot to replace the defective one.I really can't recommend these folks too highly. They were great to deal with; if there's an issue, they will pay attention. Thanks, Kamsah!
