GracoLP517 RAC X Low Pressure Airless Paint Spray Tip

This is a genuine Graco RAC X tip received in Graco packaging. The one received is green and does not have the tip size imprinted on the metal. The newest version is neon yellow, with the tip size shown on the metal. Graco advertising has confused customers into thinking they have introduced a new and improved tip, by making them yellow and printing the tip size on the metal. It's like a popular commercial where one coverage map is orange and one is purple. "See the difference?".

I'm not an experienced painter. I just bought a Graco airless sprayer as an easy way to paint my unfinished basement ceiling. One of the reviewers recommended this tip, so I purchased it. It wroked flawlessly. No regrets.

I didn't notice a difference between this and a regular 517 tip; however, it may be because I'm a crappy painter, or maybe I have a crappy sprayer. I shot 34 gallons of paint with this tip, and it was toast after that.

You will save money on paint ! It uses I would say about 15-20%less material because it’s only going on the surface you are painting!! Love these tips ! Less pressure means less wear on the tip as well ! Buy the right size tip for the size of the surface your painting that always helps. Great buy tho

Beware. Picture shows new style but you receive old stock

This is probably my favorite spray tip for exterior work , less overspray and gets the job done .
