Lasted 5 year really would recommend
Lasted 5 year outside on my pole the light still work a bit but the solar panels won't take a good charge. But still worth getting. No issue with is at all.

Works like it's supposed to.
Well I've had my solar light for 5 years now and it still works all night long you can see the flag nicely. I got three flagpoles so I own three of them and had never had a problem.

Excellent flag pole light,
This thing works excellent. I put it on top of my Harbor Freight flag pole. I had to file down the screw that holds the ball on top of the pole so it fits in the center hole of the light. Easy thing to do, I just put the screw in my drill and used a file while it was spinning. It was strange when I first took the light out of the box, I figured it already has some charge, but it did not turn on when I hit the switch. When I turned it over to check the batteries it turned on, but when I flipped it back over it would go back out. I thought that maybe something was loose, so I took the thing apart and just plain could not figure the thing out. I would put it all back together and it would do the same stinking thing… I overthought the light way to much and I read a review that it has a sensor that turns off the light during the daylight. Every time I tuned it over I was covering the sensor in my lap and the light would turn on… Totally operator error, big dummy! Anyway the light works great and is bright as heck, with a good charge during the day the light stays right all night long! This is worth the money and a fantastic light!

Could use a better on/off switch
This worked as expected great for the first few days. It would stay lit all night after even charging on a partially cloudy day. After a few days use it did not turn on after dark. I lowered the flagpole and found that if I messed with the on/off switch it would flicker a bit and then stay on for the night. I have to do this every night now. I may just take it apart and solder the wires so it is permanently switched on.Edit: I wrote this review yesterday. Last night, when I went out to mess with the on/off switch to get my light to turn on, I couldn't get it to stay on. Turns out this is a real piece of ....garbage. I've changed my rating to one star from my original two.I have taken this light apart and found that a wire that should have been soldered to the on/off switch was just resting on the post. After soldering it on to the post, the light/switch worked as intended. This was a quality control issue that should have been caught at the factory. I have upgraded my review to 4 stars to reflect that the light now works as it was designed after repairing it.

Disc Golf Basket Light
I saw these on a local course, and a friend knows the guy that maintains it. He told me the brand, and I found it on this godforsaken site.POWER: These are amazing, until it gets cold, and that's just because of current battery technology. I am able to putt for several hours after sunset, in the northern midwest. In the summer, this remains lit until the morning sun is bright enough to trigger the sensors to turn it off. In late fall and early winter, it lasts for more than three hours after sunset.DURABILITY: I have scored several direct hits on the light, when putting, and it still works. The pipe cap that I mounted it to has popped out of the top of the basket, but the light still works.PRICE: Unbelievably inexpensive, for how long it has lasted, so far.SUMMARY: I highly recommend this light. At the price at which I purchased, it is solid af.

Works Great for my 6’ Pole
The light works great. It does illuminate my flag all night long. This is during the summer when we have long days and shorter nights so I don’t know if this will illuminate all night in winter. Satisfied with the quality and performance thus far.I got this for my 6 foot flag that I display on the side of my house. The light is intended for vertical flag poles of a larger diameter. I was able to make this work by adding a 45° elbow on the top of my pole and attaching a bushing to the light which fits inside the elbow. I also had to add a little electrical tape to the tip of the pole in order to make It fits snugly. To make this work, you also need flag rings that can be moved about an inch below the end of the pole.

How long is 2x as long as the competition?
The Vont Flag Pole Light is attractive in appearance and does provide adequate light for my flag (on a 25' pole). It was easy to install (except I didn't initially realize there was an on/off switch).I purchased this solar light late June 2022. It died in late August 2023. It is now only 15 months later and I need a new light. This may be a fluke, but I am quite disappointed with the overall life of the product. For those interested in my testing and analysis of the unit:I took the unit off the pole and thoroughly cleaned the solar panels and lights. No Luck. The original batteries were completely dead, but charged in my desktop charger.I replaced the batteries anyhow. Still no luck.Since the unit was initially turned on and has worked, I can assume it is not the switch.Having new, fully charged, rechargeable batteries installed, would seem to rule out the dusk/dawn sensor. The batteries not charging coupled with the light not coming on even with new batteries seems to rule out the solar panels themselves. This leaves only the internal wiring (not likely) and the internal electronics.I hope you have found this evaluation and analysis helpful.
