Works as Advertised, Simple Install
Cable matched my existing system cables. This was purchased to extend the system by adding an SSD drive using this cable.

Excellent. ("Left angle?" What's that?)
This cable performs perfectly. It is well made. It is reliable. I recommend it 100%!If you are ordering cables which will be used **in your computer case,** look carefully at the position of the SATA connection that you're dealing with.Look very carefully if the connection location is especially crowded, as it is in my computer (on the motherboard adjacent to one of the reinforcing structural members of the computer case itself). If a straight-through connector just won't fit, (it didn't, in my computer) then you'll have to use a 90-degree connector. But here's the problem: the way that the 90-degree connector is **angled** makes a big difference! Imagine a straight-through connector bent one way, then **imagine it bent the other way.**The distinction between these two ways of bending or "angling" the straight-through connector is the reason that the expression, "left angle" is used. It is a sensible way to distinguish one way of "angling" as opposed to the opposite way. When you are about to place an order for a 90-degree angled SATA connector, look very carefully at the picture of the cable that you are about to buy. Focus your attention on the L-shape of the SATA connection where the connector "mates" with the L-shaped SATA socket. Is a a left-angle or a right-angle? Look carefully. Here is a suggestion: These cables are so cheap that if you are seeking a cable for **one connection** just order two cables... one "left angle" and one "right angle." One of them will fit.

Perfect fit
Difficult to find these left hand SATA cables for a Dell computer. Dell doesn't even have them so this was a great find for me.

Expensive, but not a ton of other trustworthy options
Very useful for me with an older computer where the drivers mount in upside-down. Rather than have a cable running up and looking ugly, I have this now to run the cable down like the other cable that came with the computer. It's a shame it's so expensive compared to right-angle and straight SATA cables where you can buy a 3-pack for the price of 1 of these cables.

Exactly what I needed!
Worked perfectly! (BTW: More of a hot pink color than red).

A perfect fit for a Dell XPS 8950 desktop
Despite the fact that my 8950 came with two HDD bays, it obnoxiously didn't come with either a caddy or a SATA cable for the second bay, so I was obliged to purchase both. Extra-obnoxiously for the cable, the positioning of the bay means that not only is the end of the drive jammed right up against the side of the case (so the connector needs a 90-degree bend to direct the cable down into the case), but the drive is also positioned UPSIDE-DOWN... meaning that most SATA cables with 90-degree connector (which typically have a "right-angle" bend) would go the wrong direction. Fortunately, I was able to find this "left-angle" one, and the 18" length was just long enough to comfortably reach from the HDD to an open SATA socket on the motherboard. It's obnoxious that this single cable cost more than I would have paid for a pack of three right-angle cables (i.e., more than 3x the per unit cost), but that's the price you pay when the manufacturer decides to make stupid decisions.

Fits a Dell XPS 8950
I don't know about other models, but the newest XPS in Dell's lineup requires an SATA cable with a specific configuration in order to add a hard drive to the computer. Get the wrong one and you'll find yourself contorting the cable and twisting the plug around so you can plug it in and close the case, and even then it's not a sure thing. This one works without fuss. It has a right-angle plug properly oriented so it can attach to the hard drive from the motherboard side of the cage. Just plug it in at both ends and you're done.Differences? Unlike Dell's OEM parts the motherboard end is straight instead of right-angle, but that's more cosmetic than anything else, In fact, I prefer the straight plug there. Also, I could wish it was two inches longer, so I could tuck it neatly under more than one cable bracket, but again, that's cosmetic. Nobody is going to open your XPS and say, oh, how awful, your SATA cable doesn't go all the way into the corner before it makes that sharp turn.

Great fit and length
Needed this for a hard drive install, and an older Dell that has a unique case design. This fit great, and the right angle is short enough for any install. Cable is sturdy and well constructed.

Works as intended
My existing sata cables were all right angled which did not suit the restricted space of the M-ATX motherbaord. Was on the verge of changing to an ATX motherboard when I noticed this. This simple left angled Sata cable sorted the problem in a jiffy. Make sure you buy the 18cm version which is more adequate for most systems.

adaptable
