Great Iron!
This is my second Rowenta; the first one lasted forever and I loved it. The steam output is just fantastic, essential for my needs. This one has a retractable cord which is always a plus. Great iron and I'm sure this one will be as long-lasting and dependable as my first!

Awesome iron
This iron is very high quality it works well it's weighted very well and has a great balance to it when you are ironing it is not too heavy and it is not too light that it's going to tip over. It has a great time for auto shut off and doesn't shut off too quickly when you're using it. It's very quiet and it's a very good price compared to more expensive irons on the market. I have a mini Rowenta iron that I use for travel when I go to quilt classes and it has been fantastic, this larger one did not disappoint.

Great iron!
Great iron. Works very well and the best part about it is the retractable cord since it makes storage so easy.

Powerful Performance with Convenient Design
The Rowenta Access Stainless Steel Soleplate Steam Iron offers excellent performance with smooth glide, strong steam output, and a convenient retractable cord, making it ideal for everyday ironing. But noticed some water leakage and inconsistent heat. Overall, it's a solid mid-range option for those seeking efficiency and comfort, especially on cotton and linen fabrics.

Twice Damaged
I have to be honest, I never got to use the iron. The first one I received came in a box that was crushed and one of the seals was not sealed. When I opened it the iron was in a crumpled paper bag and when I removed the iron there was an etching around the entire edge of the plate and scratches on the plate. The paper protector that is supposed to protect the plate during shipping was missing, this was clearly a return. The replacement that was sent was damaged as well. The paper protector for the plate was loose in the box. This iron came in an unsealed plastic bag inside the box. When I took the iron out of the plastic bag, the base of the iron with all off the electronics was not attached to the iron in any way. I should have heeded the reviews about the poor condition of the delivered irons. This is a shame because I have always had Rowenta irons (over 20 years) and am unlikely to buy them in the future based on this experience, quality control seems to be non-existent.

Nice iron!
In my opinion this iron is not heavy as some reviews stated. I absolutely love it! Plug it in and you will be ironing in no time. It glides smoothly over the fabric. I did accidentally melt the collar on one of my blouses, I underestimated how quickly this iron would heat up. This is without a doubt the best iron i have ever owned. I think nothing looks worse than someone wearing wrinkled clothing. If one has a decent iron it only takes a few minutes to make your clothes look nice. I have been living on my own for almost 50 years, so I have owned several irons. I love the retractable cord! Makes storage a breeze. The weight of the iron is sufficient to decrease the effort required to get wrinkles out. I do wish the water reservoir was a bit larger, but that is not a deal breaker for me. The temperature adjustment is in an awkward place which makes it a bit difficult to read. I do recommend that you use a pressing cloth if working with delicate fabric as i melted the collar on a synthetic blouse. Overall i am extremely pleased with my purchase!

Rowenta Iron is the Best
My opinion the German made Rowenta Streamforce Iron is the best iron of all brands to buy. Their irons last a long time without clogging, has the best stream pressure and automatic shut off when movement of the iron stops in about 2 minutes. This is probable my third iron in 30 years, I also purchased it as a give to my daughter, whose cheap, faulty hot cycle burned a whole in my blouse! Give this as a wedding gift people and they will love you for it!

You will want to iron just so you can use this baby
I had no idea what a good iron was until I spent a little money and purchased this. It is so great! It heats up super fast, irons incredibly well (I appreciate the weight so I don't have to press down too hard), doesn't get goopy (somehow, my old iron always got goop on it, which was a concern every time I had to use it due to the transfer concern), and shuts off automatically so you don't burn the house down. The steam function is fantastic -- no drippy water, just the right amount. Also, it looks really sleek -- like a serious piece of equipment. That's a minor point but these things are designed, and I appreciate the effort that was put into this one. I will leave it up to other reviewers to give a more in-depth analysis -- just wanted to put in my two cents based on decades of reluctant ironing until now.
