Germination Heat Mat with Temperature Control - Waterproof Germination Heating Pad Digital Thermostart for Reptiles Kombucha Plant Combo Set

I currently use this heating mat for my second ferment kombucha. Its works great. It helps speed up the process much faster with this mat. I am currently using the mat on its side, between my bottles of kombucha. That way its warming more of the bottle than under the bottles. Before I got this mat my kombucha would take up to two weeks before it was ready with the second ferment process. On the forth day two of my ten bottles were ready. I think today I might have a few more ready. I'm not using the temperature gauge with the probe since I am using it for Kombucha. I would like to try it out for seedlings in March, looks like it would work great for that.

Was sceptical about the temperature accuracy so check it a lot with a inferred temp gun a few times when it was first set up seems to be spot on. Plants grow like crazy. They loved the warmth

Yes this heating mat worked great, my seedlings have begun to sprout in four days.

Great at keeping Soil warm I also bought a timer so things didn't get to hot when I was growing mushrooms

This worked great from September to november. Then the temperature stopped being consistent. Currently it does not put out any heat even though the "working" light is on. Pretty disappointed. Not sure how to contact the seller.

I have this mat wrapped around a gallon glass jar brewing some Kombucha. It has a sensor that I believe is meant to be placed in soil to read the temperature, then the mat heats up as needed. I used painter's tape to attach it to the side of my jar, then set the temperature gauge a couple degrees lower. Due to the placement of the sensor, I had to mess around w/the best temperature to set the gauge to so my jar didn't get too hot or too cold. For me, setting the gauge to 70 degrees puts my kombucha around 72-74 degrees, which is perfect. It seems to hold at this temperature consistently.

worked for 1 week and doesn't function at all. Lights up however mat doesn't heat. Worked for 1 week, disappointed.

We use this to wrap our Kombucha jar to keep it at 80 degrees. It works perfectly.We used a set of VIGAER Reusable Fastening Cable Straps (12" 18" 24" 36") to hold it in place.
