Really like this improvement in tissue box look. Very simple and clean lines. The top lifts right off to reload. I like that, some might find it annoying that the top does come right off - but hasn't interfered with using it at all. We use a lot of tissues in this household and I really dislike the cardboard boxes with all the ugly colors and logos all over the place. Greatly appreciate this one for NOT having a logo plastered all over it. We unload the tissues from a cardboard box and load it up. Not sure you could just set a box inside it - would depend on what kind/size of tissues you buy. Smooth - no splinters or anything.

A standard sized rectangular tissue box doesn't even fit...and this is the very thing it is supposed to be made for. Neither Puffs or Kleenex rectangular boxes fit. I will be returning it. UPDATE: I ended up not returning the item. What I found is that I can take the tissues completely out of the cardboard box and fit them into the bamboo box. They do fit if you do this. Would prefer to just set the whole box in there. But this will do.

This box is nice. It looks nice. It feels nice. You put the tissues in all looks awesome. You pull the tissue out and the lid comes off too. Nothing keeping the lid on. It is a pain.

This box does not meet the size needed for a standard oblong box of kleenex. Had to return for refund as you can not use for the intended purpose. It was a nice looking box but will not work for kleenex
