Not a lot of taste, however, large, crunchy and perfect for snacking.

I was about to add a different brand of macadamia nuts (3 lb bag) to my cart and then saw this 3 lb bag and thought this one looked better (or maybe read something that seemed better about it) - whatever the reason, I bought these. They arrived, the bag has an "easy open" tab to pull which should rip off the top leaving the bag open and with a Ziploc type of seal, which is a great idea, but when I ripped the tab it messed up and opened the bag in a weird way which left the nuts exposed. But that's a minor issue - I was going to just dump them into a Ziploc bag. BUT - I could smell a bad smell, then I tasted them, and they were RANCID!!! They smell (and taste) like the floor of a garage, with like an almost oily/gasoline type smell! PLUS - I didn't expect all whole nuts, but almost all of it is halves and pieces, and not only that, but halves and pieces of SMALL nuts, not larger ones that seem to be normal from other brands. I just bought the other brand that I was originally going to buy and they just arrived and they are almost all whole nuts, taste great, clean, bag opened fine, etc. Of all the problems with this product I could have lived with ANY of them EXCEPT THAT THESE ARE NOT EVEN EDIBLE!!! AND AMAZON WON'T LET ME RETURN THESE EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE "PRIME"!!! TERRIBLE!!! After this review I'm complaining to Amazon's customer service immediately!!!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:great nuts, very cheap

The bags of macadamia nuts that we received were mostly pieces, instead of whole nuts as was displayed in the seller's photos.The price, however, is the best price I have found for Mac nuts. They all were fresh.

So glad I took a chance. I was leary at first because of some of the negative reviews. I don't get why nor has that been my experience. They are the freshest best tasting that I've ever had.

Spending three years in Hawaii as a kid, the Mac nut became my favorite for its sweetness and now because it is a great source of fat. Highly recommend this brand. I eat a palm side portion every day. Buying in bulk helps since it's cost is more manageable.

I had higher hopes for these macadamia nuts. They smell rancid when opening the bag. The taste borderline "just ok". I did not have time to return them. I needed them for a recipe. I will not order them again.

We were getting nuts with a long expiration date. Now we are getting ones with only a 3 month shelf life left, and you can tell the difference. The ones from the last 2 shipments have a slight rancid taste!Cancelling our subscription.
