Automatic Fish Food Dispenser - Vacation Aquarium Feeder with Timer for Holiday Trips (AF-2003D)

The media could not be loaded.  I have a planted tank with a small shoal of nano fish and shrimp.Going away for 2 weeks so wanted something that will dispense a small amount of food to keep them going.Have set this up to go off once a day and it dispenses a small amount of prima mini-granuals.All other options seemed to be expensive, allow for water to get in, or feed too much food. The opening for this is at the top so evaporation or splashing won't get into the food.It sits on my glass lid and drops food through the small hole in the top (it'll leave a bit of a mess on the lid, but absolutely worth it).Black AF-2003D model - £13.99 in May 2024

Easy to assemble and attach to tank! Really pleased

The feeder was easy to program and kept my fish alive when away for extended period. It's all I wanted!Getting the portion size correct took some trial and error, and I still think they might have been overfed a little.But not a major complaint from me.

The item should really be waterproof. The clamp for the side of the tank isnt great and it has come loose and fallen into the water resulting in screen damage. Still works, but cant see all the screen so makes it difficult if i want to reprogram it.When working, it does the job well, but its hard to get the opening right to ensure you're not over feeding.

The media could not be loaded.  Does exactly as it should. Wide range of feed size available suitable for small - large tanks. You can set up to 4 modes or feed schedule in a day. You can also set the feeder up to do one or two releases of feed per mode. The second release goes 1 minute after the first. Really useful in staggering feeds as well as giving larger portions of feeds for bigger tanks.

Solid piece of equipment but either too much or no food pellets drop out. After correcting the window size for correct portion of food to fall, on the first spin it's fine but nothing falls out in subsequent spins. It's as if the machine is too smooth and needs a jolt to dislodge the food pieces. Can't use it since it's not reliable.

Gekocht om 4 kleine vissen eten te kunnen geven tijdens afwezigheid. Bij de kleinste instelling komt er te weinig voer uit en bij de volgende stand veel te veel. Verder werkt de timer wel goed en makkelijk.

pratique pour soigner son ou ses poissons, seul reproche.. il aurait fallu prévoir un témoin, un compteur.. que sais-je.. qlq chose qui indique que le distributeur a distribuer 1 ou 2X (24 et 12h) la nourriture car c'est pas évident de voir si cela a été fait ou pas.. d'où une étoile en moins

I'm pretty pleased with this little automatic feeder. I purchased the basic version that only has a switch for 12 or 24 hours. I like that it's simple and straightforward. The battery compartment fits a little too snugly, but with a little bit of force, it all fits well. The timer starts when you place the batteries, but ithe timer will reset if you switch the setting, so you don't have to remove the batteries in case you want to adjust the time of feeding. The 12-hr setting will trigger exactly every 12-hrs (e.g. 9:00 am and then again at 9:00 pm). To change the timer, switch to 24-hr and again to 12-hr (or vice versa) at the time of your choosing. There are no instructions that explain this, but this is the most convenient way to adjust the timer.

J'ai acheté ce distributeur pour être tranquille quand on part en weekend. Il fait le job, on peut évaluer la quantité de nourriture distribuée afin de trouver le bon dosage en appuyant sur le petit bouton derrière. C'est aussi le déclencheur de la minuterie, donc assurez vous de le faire à l'heure où vous souhaitez la distribution de nourriture. Format 12h ou 24h.
