Nice item .

I bought this for my cat-themed Vespa moped build so I could hang cat toys from it. I needed something that was capable of being installed securely and also was sturdy enough to withstand traveling around 40mph. I researched a lot of different flag options on Amazon, but this one stood out because of the sturdy design.If you imagine one of the old-school telescoping car antennas, and mix that with the spring at the bottom that a CB radio antenna has, then this is it. My favorite part about it, though, is the installation hardware. At the end of the spring there is a 14mm bolt that holds a sturdy steel bracket with another 14mm bolt. I believe this is meant to make it so that you can install the flag to the rear axle. This didn't work for my particular build because Vespa mopeds have a rear transmission with an output shaft rather than an axle. What I did was, I removed the nut holding the bracket, took the bracket off, found two rubber washers (since mopeds vibrate so much, nuts tend to screw themselves out if you don't secure them properly), drilled a hole in the book rack, and installed the flag there.The actual flag part is held on with a metal clip. In order for me to take it off, I had to pry it open with pliers and then cut the seam where the flag was sewn. For those of you who are thinking about buying this for its actual use, this means that the flag is installed securely and won't fly off or slide down. Once I did that, I attached some safety pins, fashioned a stopper (so the pins wouldn't slide down), and then hooked the cat toys to the pins. Voila! Ridiculous cat toy accessory for my ridiculous cat-themed moped.I took the moped on a ride yesterday, and the "flag" survived a 45 mph ride with no problems whatsoever. I'm very pleased with this product.

Item arrived early and I was super happy. This flag is exactly what the seller stated it would be. NO BULL HERE!Easy to install, very strong, and does exactly what it is suppose to do. This antenna flag stays at the desired height, it does not move.I put an American flag on it, right below the orange glag, it was very easy to do.Some reviews are misleading. I’m glad I didn’t listen to them. This flag is GREAT!YOU WILL DEFINITELY WANT THIS ITEM!

Sturdy and nice but the flag could be better quality.

This was well constructed and worked in the exact capacity for which it was purchased. I got it for a friend's motorized wheelchair. It collapses to a nice low profile, and, when fully extended, it sticks up high enough to be seen over a car. The spring at the base is strong and would prevent damage if it doesn't get lowered before going through a doorway. If you're needing to make someone who rides a wheelchair around traffic a little safer, this is the right product!

I ordered this item to attach to my garden tractor, and it is working great. I had to drill a hole in the mower frame to attach but it is working. I like the telescoping pole with spring as I can bend it over when covering the mower and it allows me to mow under branches without worrying about it breaking. The flag is bright enough to be seen several hundred feet and is made of heavy material. I am well pleased with this purchase and am going to order two more for kids bikes!

Flag was used 3 days and now it is all fraid . Can't get ahold of company

Pole is nice and sturdy but flag literally frayed after the FIRST use. We’ll replace it but what a disappointment.
