WOODRIVER Medium Thumb Guard - Adult Female

Has kept my thumb from being cut but after 3 days of use the stitching came undone and now I must get a leather needle to sew it back together. More than one stitch line more then likely would have solved this issue. I have only used one so far, the other is still in the package so unknown if both will have stitch failure.

Received looking as shown. For me, too small. Leather and elastic is too flexible. Hard to use. Description is correct-"female" sized(small lady needed)(as rec'd is labled: Med.?) Pic advertised shows a good fit on a thumb looking about same as mine. I couldn't get it fully on my thumb, way too small. You only get 2 for price shown. I'll keep them but far from my needs and expectations.

These might work for someone else but they are pretty much useless for me. I can get them on my thumbs but the seam on the sides is so big it makes it harder to use my thumb for anything. It makes me feel clumsier to wear these, so I definitely would only wear them when doing general shaping, not detail work.

I like these thumb guards but....the seam on one of them came apart the first time I used it. Leather makes it difficult to repair myself.

I have tiny hands and fingers and I ordered a size bigger than what I would normally wear and it's really too small for my thumb. Order much bigger than you normally wear because these thumb guards run very small. Since it's leather it is slowly adjusting to my thumb and stretching out. It does work really well.

Was not sure about fit but is true to size based on other gloves I have purchased. Would prefer double stitching as others noted but hopefully being gentle with make it last. Two were in the package

These are terrific! The leather is soft and pliable enough that I can still feel and control the knife, while being thick and sturdy enough to protect me from many knicks and cuts. The elastic on the back (maybe sock material?) makes it snug enough to stay on securely and comfortably. I recommend these highly. Of course, I still manage to cut myself while carving, but NOT where I'm wearing the guards. I wear one on my thumb and one on my index finger. Thank you for making these to fit a woman's hand!

I found the thumb guard a perfect fit for a woman’s thumb. It’s not easy finding one that works. One has an open end and the other closed. Both fit and stay on while I’m carving.
