With +Mesh, any Sena headset can now enjoy the benefits of Mesh technology when using the intercom. The +Mesh wireless adapter for Sena headsets allows for seamless communication with other Sena headsets built with Mesh Intercom, rather than connecting over Bluetooth, with a range up to 800 meters (0. 5 miles).

Works with Cardo Edge
Works well, paired it to my Cardo Edge in Bluetooth rider mode, gives me access to Sena Mesh. Best to talk to a newer Sena like a Sena 50S. Has less noise than pairing directly to a Sena 50S in Bluetooth. Had poor coms with a 30K. I usually use open mesh channel one. It can be set to other channels using the app. The phone app pairs directly to the +mesh. You don’t pair it to your phone’s Bluetooth first.I’ve experienced some noise & stuttering with a friends 30K in the Sena mesh group for some reason. Mount the + mesh high & in the open for best signal. I’ve got it near the top of my windscreen behind it.

PAIR DWO-1 LITE WITH NEWER MESH SYSTEMS
I bought this item so that my old DWO-1 Lite bluetooth intercom system could talk to my new Sedici Strada 3 Parlare helmet that is equipped with a DWO-7 Pro Mesh system. Once I paired the DWO-1 with the Sena Mesh module I was able to put my Sedici helmet in mesh mode and have it work flawlessly! NOTE THOUGH, you have to change the DWO-7 Pro Mesh system in your SenaMotorcycles app to Mesh 2.0 instead of the most recent Mesh 3.0 or it will not work. Go into the device settings in the app punch the little slide button turning off 3.0. This is exactly what I was looking for so my cheap intercom can connect with my mesh intercom helmet!

Allows me to join Sena open mesh
Well, the product works as described. It attaches easily to my bike and then connects to a Sena mesh (other riders) without much effort. The range seems to be good, at least for local roads with my typical group.Of course, I’m still pissed off that I needed this device to use a new $300+ comm unit (SLR-2). AND, why the hell doesn’t someone make one of these to allow me to join a Sena and Cardo mesh at the same time, or at least create a bridge of some type.

Works great!
I bought this to use with my Sena 10S and first gen Sena 10C from 2015. The device works great on both headsets. It pairs easy and with a little practice you can go from Bluetooth the Mesh in seconds. There is a specific app made just for this device but it has been so easy to use I have not needed it. Looking back I wish I had bought a Mesh ready headset instead of my 10S, but this device is a easy fix to this problem. It can be used with all of my head sets and was priced right at $129 at the time I purchased the unit.

Poorly designed
The hardware appears to be OK. The software, however, is horrible. The mobile app, that you really need, is useless. You need to reconnect it every time. It won't let me change channels. Needless to day, it is plain dangerous to deal with these issues while riding the bike. I wish I went with Cardo to start with, but all my buddies are on Sena mesh, so I have no choice, other than to use this junk with my Schuberth built-in communicator, that doesn't have mesh.Update: after a few months of struggle, I'm throwing this thing to trash. It is unusable.

Typical Sena problems with the added benefit of no modern Mesh3.0 support.
Until and unless Sena updates the firmware for this device, it is functionally useless and I cannot recommend purchasing it.It only supports Mesh2.0, which is not compatible with the current Mesh3.0 of the Sena mesh-enabled devices. If this is specified somewhere, I completely missed it during my research. If not, well, here's your warning. You must communicate in advance with everyone who is on a Sena mesh device and convince them to actively downgrade to Mesh2.0 via their phone app in order to speak with them, which undermines the entire purpose of the open mesh concept. Sena's mesh channels are also broken out by mesh version, so you can think of it as 20 channels instead of just 10.The audio transmitted from this device onto the Sena mesh (that is, what the Sena mesh users receive) is a markedly lower volume. There is no way to change channels on the device itself, or verify what channel its on after it connects to your bluetooth device. The only things you can do on the device itself without the app are:- turn it on and off- mute/unmute the transmission into the Sena mesh- start pairing mode- connect to the paired deviceYou have to re-pair it to your phone in order to alter the one setting on it -- the channel -- which is a hassle. Just set it to channel 1 (or probably anything but channel 1 if Mesh3.0 ever releases for it) and forget it.Battery life is adequate, but in classic Sena fashion, it will go down to an indicated 50% over the course of many hours, and then run out of battery within 30 minutes.I act as the bridge between the Cardo Edge users in my riding group and the Sena 50 and 60 users in another riding group. All the Sena users say the folks from the Cardo side are too quiet. On the Cardo end, we can hear eachother perfectly, and the Sena folks are the same volume. It's worth noting that in the battle between Sena vs Cardo, the Cardos are comically superior in noise cancellation. The Senas tend to constantly transmit even when no one is talking. This is particularly annoying as distances substantially increase and their mesh starts to break apart, as this comes through as hollow 8 bit drumming sounds reminiscent of a bad cordless phone connection from 1997. Perhaps Mesh3.0 fixes that, but gee, I have no way of knowing that.

works as it should
this works perfectly with older sena headsets to make them mesh capable. I have been using mine with a Sena 10R for months now and it has worked flawlessly. Only flaw, if you can call it thatis, you can only select 1 channel via the pc app, not phone app support to adapt on a ride to a different channel. i have not foujnd this to be bothersome, but if you ride with a lot of folks in areas where sometimes you have to change channels, then this leaves you out of the group. Again, i have never had that problem, but be aware.I would recommend as a great and cheap way to convert your existing headset into a mesh unit. saved me from having to replace several headsets and just use this in its place.
